Beautiful campground area, definitely more woodsy than some others I've seen, more wildlife activity warnings than others that I've seen as well. We only walked through one path that took us to a small overlook to a smaller scaled water fall, but it was still beautiful! It's worth the trip!

This was a great place! The trail was clearly marked and the hike was pretty easy with some slight incline. Both waterfalls were easy to get to. There were more stairs on the lower trail, but they weren’t outrageous. There were a lot of visitors, but the hike was still relaxing and a lot of fun. We even got in the creek for a bit. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful park and campground. To hit both the waterfalls is about 2 miles and small elevation gain. I would rate it on the easier side of moderate. The trails are well maintained and marked. You can bring dogs as long as they are leashed. 5$ parking unless you have an interagency pass.

Great spot for a getaway with the pop-up camper. No power, no water, no cell service, and no wood. Sunrise Grocery up the mountain has a great deal on firewood! But that made the trip more adventurous! Great hike to the waterfalls! Nice and well maintained camp, can't wait to come back when it gets a little warmer!

Gorgeous hike and campground. 2 hikes to waterfalls, one is 0.75 miles, the other 0.25 miles one way. Well maintained. The hikes are easy. Download the app and pay for parking ahead of time.

A very enjoyable hike.
If anyone sees this, and is wondering what they can get away with clothing wise... birkenstocks, khaki shorts, wearing a kid on my back and sometimes 1 on my hip.
Clocked both upper and lower for about 2 miles at the bridge that starts the trail.
The lower falls is a bit more steep but very short. Upper falls is longer but very gradual (and a prettier viewing deck)

An easy hike with gorgeous views!! My husband and I hiked to the upper falls. We did not go to the lower falls but heard that it is also a very easy hike. The waterfall on the upper hike is gorgeous. Sadly so many people feel the need to leave graffiti everywhere on the platform.

Nice and clean as a recreational place should be. I camped at site 14. the only double lot ... Beautiful spot ... The camp site hosts are super friendly. I will be back

Upper Falls is a longer but very easy route. Not a lot of elevation gain overall, what does happen is fairly gradual. Most of the walk is along a creek. The falls themselves are fairly impressive. The Lower Falls are short but have fairly significant elevation gain for the distance. That being said it's very manageable, even if you aren't in the best of shape.

Great spot for families to go for a quick walk up to beautiful waterfalls.
Definitely an easy 2 mile hike, and pretty popular so be prepared for a lot of foot traffic. But it's gorgeous and there is lots to see along the way.

I loved this hike! When you get on the trail you’ll come to a sign that says 3/4 mile one way to the upper falls and 1/4 mile the other way to get to the lower falls. It’s definitely reasonable to see both waterfalls. There are some inclines and stairs but it was very easy and so beautiful. Bring $5 cash too. There’s a box in the parking area with envelopes to put the money in and deposit. I recommend getting there early. Got there around 9:30 and there weren’t many people there.

My family and I visited here to see the Upper and Lower falls. They were both beautiful. We did come across a rattlesnake that we let pass before moving on.
The Upper Falls is the easier hike and the Lower is harder as it is much steeper. You can kind of walk into the base at the Upper, but the Lower is on a platform I wouldn't recommend leaving.

We really enjoyed our time there and will be back. The hosts were awesome. It's sad that we didn't see a park ranger come through the entire time we were there. The hosts do a awesome job and they need to be supported by the forestry department.
It's $20.00 per night to camp and use facilities, but people were coming in and staying on sites to picnic and walking through campsite all while signs said this was prohibited. A ranger presence would be helpful and appreciated.

Careful with the GPS directions - this is the one in mountains, not on 400. Can't recommend for tent camping since showers and bathrooms are not that good. But great place for hiking. There are two trails to go up to the falls - 1/4 mile on left and 3/4 mile on right. The one on right is relatively flat. Both have a viewing platform at the bottom of falls. To get to the top of falls you have take a pretty steep but adventurous trail that's not for everyone. Enough places to dip your feet in the water. Water is clear and cold. Of course there are water snakes in GA. Kids and adults had fun 3 hours. $5 per day at parking lockbox - bring exact $.

The sites are huge, campground was very well maintained. We were tent camping and there was fresh water and bathrooms in walking distance to our site (23). We visited a winery nearby, went hiking and took a trip into Helen. Very enjoyable weekend! My one small negative comment is the intermittent road noise late at night. It is pretty loud when you're trying to sleep in a tent. Bring earplugs!

Two separate falls, best one to right, both worth seeing. Beginning of both paths is fairly level and gravelled. A fellow with a prosthetic leg had no trouble. Not overly developed (asphalt), bull well maintained. Lots of picnic tables. Toilets are one-holers. Very enjoyable. There are white pines (see pictures of tiny ones. These contain suramin which is useful as a tea against autism and adverse "vax" reactions per Dr Judy Mikovits.

Beautiful campgrounds. We reached at 5 pm on Saturday and got one campsite. It is first come first serve. There were several available though, but later all were taken. It is $20 for one night for single one. Clean restrooms and showers. The restrooms were out of hand wash or sanitizer so make sure to get it with you. We did not do any hikes but people said the waterfall is beautiful too.

Great easy/moderate hike to check out the lower and upper falls 🏞
We did see a bear in the parking lot that did not seem too concerned about humans, so just be aware and smart.
