My husband & I decided on a whim to stay the night here with our grandson, & this will forever be our go to when coming to Helen. We stayed in the couples cabin & it was so fantastic! The only reason I gave four stars on the room is because the ceiling light/fan didn’t work. .. but that was no biggie to us really. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed here right before Thanksgiving and had a great experience. We stayed in the hotel which I was surprised at how modern it was with a large TV. The room was clean and seemed to be well maintained. The front desk ladies were very polite and helpful. The best thing about Riverbend is the location, it is right in the heart of downtown Helen, in walking distance to pretty much everything. We walked everywhere we went because parking is kinda expensive in Helen. My wife and I own a travel agency (Minchew Family Vacations) and will definitely recommend Riverbend to our customers.

Good place to stay with the kids! It was safe, clean, and easy to walk to everything. The Christmas lights in town are beautiful. The tavern right across the street has a chicken salad salad that is really good. If we come back to Helen we would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in one of the cabins along the river. Perfect location! The back of the cabin looks out over the river with a place to build a fire along with a grill to cook out. The service from the front desk was great. All of the women were very friendly and made us feel welcomed.
Because we had a cabin and not a hotel room, there is no housekeeping and at the end of the stay we had to take out the trash and do dishes. Which is fine but there was no stopper for the sink or dish cloth, but we managed.
We loved how we parked the truck and walked to everything. Great location. If we ever get back that way again, we will definitely stay there again.

I'm recovering from. Broken leg and was visiting for our Anniversary. They accommodated me with a first floor room after realizing we had 3 flights of stairs to walk up. Lol
Pet friendly, great location and view. They also had a really nice sitting area along the river with entry points right into the Chatahoochie! Purrfect!

We stayed for one night and were very pleased! Front desk staff were super friendly! We had a room with a nice view of the river. The room was nice and clean. The location is SUPERB! We selected this hotel based on the good reviews and the location. We were very happy with our decision and I would recommend!

Rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very accommodating. Location is a short walk from downtown and located on the river edge with plenty of free parking. The only negative comment would be the transfer of sound from the upper units if your room is on the lower level.

We had stayed here before and really enjoyed the location and the service. We were able to get a weekend away and decided to come back and was still very pleased with our stay. We enjoyed our stay. As stated in other reviews the bed was very firm but my wife and I slept okay. The motel is older but our room was clean and nothing worn out or broken. We stayed in a Hampton Inn a month ago in another city, and that place was a mess.
We very Pleased with our stay at Riverbend and look forward to come back as soon as we are able.

A great location, the rooms were clean (and warm!), and the ladies at the front desk were super nice. We would definitely stay here again.

The associates were just awesome. The rooms are really nice and clean. Being right there with the mountain stream, it was great we would walk down and sit on the swing and just listen to the water. Highly recommend Riverbend.

The location is ideal for walking the town. We had a perfect view of the river. The service here was fantastic. Everyone was so polite and gave us suggestions for things to do and places to go. I will definitely be staying here again.

Omg we had a fantastic time at you place. The rooms were clean and everyone was friendly. The breakfast was a large variety of items.The grounds were absolutely stunning. We are definitely going to rent a cabin next time and bring our 2 grandchildren. The girls at the front desk were all so kind and friendly. The only complaint I have is it wasn't a long enough stay. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

This was supposed to a trip for 2 old friends to catch up & hang out. We checked in on 7-31 & will check out on 7-4. Our stay here has been the absolute best, the staff have been so amazing & anything we need we have. The cleanliness of the room is the best, location is definitely the best. The car hasn't moved since we got here. We are definitely planning to come back & Riverbendhotelandcabins will be our ONLY go to place to stay. You just can't ask for better anything for the price & their prices are great. Thank you Riverbendhotelandcabins for making everything absolutely perfect for us & we look forward to staying again in the future.

Room was great. Clean, roomy, beautiful lookout over the katahoochie river. Best pet friendly hotel I've ever stayed at. Does need an elevator!

Riverbend is a quiet, clean, well-maintained property close to downtown Helen's shopping and dining. Its an older facility but the rooms are updated with a nice, roomy shower with sliding glass doors and a lighted mirror over the sink. The furniture is sturdy and modern. The bed offers firm but really comfy support. The fridge and microwave are of good quality and the hvac unit is quiet and effective. The sink drained very slowly when we arrived and maintenance took care of that issue immediately. The front desk and housekeeping staff are very friendly and responsive. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Helen.

Very welcoming staff, Sally and I were greeted with a 41 st anniversary card when we arrived at our room. Great location, out of town but, not out of town. Enjoyed the river, swings and just watching the tubers go down the river. We WILL return. God bless y'all.

This was our first time staying here and we will be returning. It sits in the back just off the strip but within walking distance, so there’s no need in driving and paying for parking. The staff was very nice and helpful. The beds are firm but goes with the contour of your body. I’m so glad to see someone is taking care of the originals and making them nice again.
