Absolutely love going to Baugher's for fresh local fruit! Pick your own is so much fun! 3 and under are free. You can purchase tickets online for a cheaper price vs buying at the orchard. They have a petting zoo and playground for kids. Beautiful rolling hills in the county side make the perfect background for photos! Love the market, just wish it was bigger and had more to offer. Ps - you can buy a bag of animal feed for the petting zoo at the Market for $1. Otherwise, they have quarter machines at the petting zoo.

Stumbled on this place while visiting Westminster. So happy we did…loved the market, the flowers and plants, but most of all loved the restaurant. Wow…delicious comfort food at great prices. And the service was fantastic. Thanks Caroline…you were great and so, so sweet!

Just peachy! Fun and interesting. Loved riding to and from the groves on a tractor-pulled tram. Picturesque, gently-rolling MD countryside views are abundant on this 100+ year-old, 600 acre family farm. Great for kids with multiple playground areas and a very cool petting zoo.
Nice farm store filled to bursting with produce, plants, unique groceries, jams, and items galore! Nice clean facilities. Helpful, friendly staff. Highly recommended!

We were in the area for a car show this morning and decided to stop by Baugher's Orchards & Farm on a whim...

...and so glad we did! First, the market smells incredible, like sweet apple scent (makes sense since there are apples everywhere). There is a large variety of jams, pies, sauces, spices, fruit/veggies, fudge/candy and drinks available - even the pickiest person can find something to enjoy.

We purchased 6 Joe Teas (try the mango tea, it's fantastic), a blackberry pie, red velvet roll, two bags of chips, a Cheerwine, Vidalia onion ranch dressing and apple cinnamon pancake mix for about $55 (10% off for Veterans today). Considering this is a local business and market, the prices were very fair!

I want to remark on the staff as well. We had three checkouts (kept going back for more!) and the blonde young man who served us was SO nice. He even gave my boyfriend a free donut since he's a Marine veteran. He was polite and easy to engage with. We both remarked on how nice the Baugher's team members were and I hope management is proud!

We then stopped at the petting zoo and enjoyed the animals. I'd recommend parking at the market and enjoying the short walk to the zoo, it's not far and parking spots were limited by the zoo. The animals are precious and well fed. If you plan to hit the zoo, buy a few apples to share with the animals, they'll love you forever. The petting zoo was free but donations are appreciated.

Overall we had a wonderful Fall afternoon at the market and petting zoo. We will definitely be back. Thank you to all at Baugher's!

Been going here for years during the spring and fall. Family oriented and lots of fun. Prices are generally reasonable although the store has evolved into a overpriced gift shop for some items.

Great outing for the kids. My daughter didn't want to leave. I had to drag her to the car. We picked peaches and black berries while we were there. The orchard has a list of fruits by the month that in season on their website and by the front entrance. We took wagon ride to each location, which made the adventure intriguing. There is also a petting zoo. We were able to get up close and interact with a variety of farm animals while we fed them. My daughter got a kickbour of it. Watch out!!! The main attraction, though, for the kids is the zinc tunnel slide 🛝 located behind the market and down the little hill by the second playground. Bring change of clothes for the kids you are going to need it, trust me on this !! Overall, we had a wonderful time. I'm definitely taking me kids there again!!

An awesome time for our group of 11. Petting zoo, hay tide to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard. The market had lots of great ciders, jams, pies, donuts and anything else you can think of. Cooked food: funnel cake, tenders and fries, brats, and other food. Playgrounds for the kiddos! Tons of fun for all! This was our first year going - we'll definitely be back!

Went to the Petting Zoo. They have goats, peacocks, alpacas, sheep, ostrich and a pig!! The grandchildren loved it. Bring your quarters to be able to feed the animals. Or grab a $1 bag at market first before walking or driving over.

Excellent experience at fall time for a small group of 3 moms and 5 children ages 5-10. Options to visit apple orchard, pumpkin fields and sunflower fields by way of tractor for a fee. Double price to visit all of them. Great food truck selection out back and outdoor picnic tables. Side playground for children. Extremely family and children friendly. Okay restroom facility - should be modernized and updated but functional. Cute "mid" gift shops. 5 for $5 fresh sunflower deal blew my mind. Definitely recommend. The day we visited they had face painting on site for a nominal fee which was out of this world professional. The kids loved it. I liked this fall farm much more than others in the metro area because it was more of a family friendly real farm than a commercialized money maker. Staff very friendly and beautiful natural surroundings. Thanks Baughers, we will be back soon!

They have apples you can't find in regular grocery stores, and they are so sweet... the experience was outstanding if I could give 10 Stars I would it was so much fun definitely a place you would want to take children or just go by yourself you'd have just as much fun my favorite was their apple pie store in which I bought Apple and blueberry homemade pies, they also make fresh homemade chips ,,, will be back every year 😋

Was a great experience picking cherries with the family. A tractor takes you to the field and you pick as much as you can carry in your bucket. There are 2 playgrounds, a market, and a petting zoo. A must visit place for families.

Great place for family and friends! There are a lot of options for activities in the fall. They have apple picking, pumpkin picking, a petting zoo, trailer rides, food, a market, a scarecrow making area, pumpkins and apples that you can buy without picking, and live music. Would recommend!

This place really grabbed my kids attention. Even my 13yo son who rolls his eyes a lot. The stories I could tell with the animals at this place in just one visit. Lots of personality! We all laughed A LOT! The slide alone entertained them for almost an hour. We left with lots of delicious food from their store and learned that Jonathan apples are similar to Macintosh which are my favorites. Wish I had bought more. They even had some toys and candy for kids to enjoy 😁

This is a cute farm to take the kids or as a couple date. You can pick your own apples or pumpkins. They have a hayride and petting zoo which was so fun. I absolutely recommend them and don't leave without taking home some of their Apple Cider Donuts and Homemade Pies

I can't imagine visiting Baugher's without having a great time. The strawberries were delicious and eat to pick. Kids loved the playground and petting zoo.

I have been coming here every fall for about 5 years now and love it every time. The free petting zoo is not to be missed, but know that most of the animals are most compliant for pictures if you spend some change to buy food to bribe them with. Tickets for apple and pumpkin picking are both $3 per person and then you need to buy a bag size for the apples and the pumpkin you choose is gonna cost you about 50 cents per pound. My friends and I decided to split the cost ($36) of a half bushel bag, the largest size, and were easily able to fit 60 apples. There are tractor pulled rides that take you to and from the main area to either the apple orchard or the pumpkin patch. The ride for the apples is just a normal tram, but the one to the pumpkins is a hay ride, which children always love. There are food trucks where you can buy a quick meal and the apple cider, baked goods, and flavored honey sticks in the market are always delicious as well. And there is also a small patch of sunflowers that are very picturesque just beyond the petting zoo.

What a wonderful place! I go here every fall for apple picking and every spring for strawberry’s. The price is reasonable and they always have fresh produce in the fields.

My kids love the free petting zoo and big slide. They have a market and activities for the kids.

The staff is always friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this orchard.

I had such a great day here! The staff were incredible and the apples were so good! They have a small market as well and the jams, bread, snd squash were all wonderful! This is a great family experience, the petting farm was free when we went and the apple picking was reasonably priced.
