Absolutely love this place! They make some of the best cookies I have ever had.

I ordered a special cookie cake for a friend's bachelorette party in Bay St. Louis and it came out beautifully! Tasted absolutely incredible too. The cookie was thick and moist.

The then-bachelorette and her now-husband have a thing for avocados and Sarah and her crew were able to add it to the cake!

The small sized cake was plenty for the 8 of us to enjoy.

If I could do more than 5 stars, I would. Sara’s team did a beautiful job on my son’s birthday cake last month, and my daughter’s cake in August, and every treat I’ve purchased on a whim because it feels like a good day for a unicorn bar. Cakes are fresh, decorated neatly and colorfully, and so flavorful! Serving portions are generous sizes too.

I have been a customer for 2+ years, always a HIT for tailgating season. They did a king cake for my baby shower, and most recently cookies for my nieces birthday. Always SPOT ON and so friendly. Absolutely love the new location!

we had counterspace for our wedding cupcakes last january and they were amazing! they were so accommodating with us being so indecisive and we ended up with three different flavors that were all amazing. we moved out of BR but we will always come back to visit this sweet little bakery. staff and owner are all so friendly and helpful always. never had a hard cake from here. Not when grabbing something from the case and not even our wedding cupcakes. Everything has always tastes fresh!

CounterSpaceBR has become one of my favorite sweet treat stops! I tried the King Cake and it is delicious!

My family and I have been Counterspace fans since she was in White Star Market! We’ve only had cookies and we’ve loved them every time. It’s been very cool seeing her business grow and expand over the past 6 years!

I have ordered three CounterSpace BR cookie cakes now for my kids’ birthdays. We love CounterSpace because they are peanut free and because they have the best chocolate chip cookie recipe in existence. Just picked one up today for my son’s school birthday party and it was perfect: soft, fresh, delicious, and with perfect buttercream. Consistently excellent!

We love Counterspace! The chocolate chip cookies are amazing, so good and the best in Baton Rouge - the flavor and the salt on top are 👌🏻. Her sprinkle cookies, unicorn bars, and rice krispy treats are also delicious - these are items I get whenever I stop in. The king cake is delicious during carnival season. I ordered a cake for a party and not only was it beautiful, but it was delicious too! Submitting orders online is also super easy and convenient. I’m so excited to try the breakfast at the new mid city location! The staff is always so friendly and helpful whenever I visit the Bocage and mid city locations. Counterspace is the best in BR!

I recently moved to New Jersey from BR, and I just didn’t know how good I had it living down the street from counterspace. Their chocolate chip cookies and icebox pies are my Roman Empire. You know it’s serious when you still follow the Instagram account even after you move states. Thankfully I was able to get a king cake shipped, and with that, a little piece of home.

Wish I was still there to visit their new locations and attend the baking classes, but anyone who asks me places to go in BR, this is at the top of my list!!

The best chocolate chip cookies ever. These cookies are transformative, if you need a smile, eat one! Everything else is great too, love the scones, cakes and service!

My husband and I lived in Baton Rouge about 2 years ago and I literally can’t get the treats from CounterSpace BR out of my head even 735 miles away. When we went back to visit in November, I sent a sweet IG message over about how I needed their ginger whoopie pies in my life, low and behold I walk into their shop and they had a bunch in their front case. I also picked up their pumpkin cookie sandwiches and quickly regretted only buying 2. We were beyond thrilled when they did gluten free king cakes this year as my husband had to cut our gluten and let me just tell you, that was probably the best king cake we’ve had and you would’ve never guessed it was gluten free.

We fell in love with THE famed Counterspace chocolate chip cookie on a date night back at White Star years ago. They were the biggest hit as our wedding favors this June! Sarah and the team did an exceptional job working with us, from rearranging a new order date after postponing our wedding, down to providing traffic directions to my parents on pickup day! Now our favorite treats have little extra special sweetness to them. They take us right back to our honeymoon road trip every time❤

The Counterapace team not only love what they do, they are incredible at it! The salted chocolate chip cookie is the dessert of dreams. Can’t wait to try their breakfast items at Mid City and classes in Zachary soon!

CounterSpace made our wedding cake and did a fantastic job. Sarah Joy made the process very easy and delivered the cake herself. Delicious, beautiful, crowd-pleasing and still special. They also made a vegan and gluten free version of the cake in cupcake form for guests with dietary restrictions.

BEST bakery in town! I’ve been going to Counterspace for all my bakery needs for over a year now and they never disappoint. The have quality baked goods at a fair price. Don’t even get me started over their chocolate chip cookies! And if I didn’t brag about them enough they also made my wedding cake which was gorgeous and tasted so good!

I would give this place 100/100 stars. It really is the best, if you have a negative review about this place, that’s ur OWN fault! Never a negative thing to report. PS…If you want your order to be fresh when picked up, don’t pick it up 24 late (;

CounterSpace is my go to sweet place! I love shopping local, and their sea salt chocolate chip cookie is my absolute favorite cookie. The owner is very nice and helpful. She maintains a presence on the shops Instagram, not only updating about changes to open hours or new treats but she is also honest and vulnerable about the challenges small businesses face. I appreciate this type of transparency that you do not see from chain/corporate storefronts. If you are in Baton Rouge, stop by!

Hands down the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had! I got my husband a Valentine’s Day box and the cakesicle, rice crispy and brownie were all delicious as well. They even made my husband’s cookie cake dream come true for his groom’s cake! I mean seriously just look at this tiered cookie cake! We love Counterspace!

I love Counterspace SO much. I could not recommend it enough. I had my 21st birthday cake custom ordered from here, and it was incredible. The team was incredibly accommodating and creative with all of my quite wacky and specific flavor/color requests. They listened to exactly what I wanted and truly over performed. The cake was delicious, and it was truly such a wonderful and unique flavor (champagne and cream cheese!) This is hands down my favorite bakery in Baton Rouge. They have continued to shine and do their absolute best for their customers— prioritizing safety, honest, transparency, and excellency amidst a pandemic You can’t quite beat the feeling of pure satisfaction when you take a bite of their wonderful goodies and knowing that you are also supporting a marvelous small business.
