Sonic Drive-In

We rarely eat fast food but when we do, it is always Sonic. I'm giving this 5 stars and positive review but the second part will be a negative experience from yesterday, but our first negative experience ever.

About a month ago a male car hop brought us our food and my daughter's "plain hotdog nothing on it" was actually a "fully loaded hotdog". The car hop apologized, went inside and got a new one himself, came back out with extra peppermints for our daughter. He got a fat tip. You could tell he really appreciates having a job and takes it seriously.

Sonic has been very reliably with very friendly staff and consistent food.

With that said, on 1/10/24 in the early afternoon we ordered two hickory burgers that were simply not edible. So dry and maybe a single bite's worth of hickory sauce. I'm not sure how someone could do such a poor job at making a cheeseburger without it being intentional. Hopefully they were just having a bad day.

They have got to take the chili cheese cony off the menu or I'm going to be so heavy I just love them and onion rings

I usually order a number for a double bacon Sonic cheeseburger a large fry and a route 44 Coke with little ice every time it has been good! Although it is summer time now I go there quite a bit just for they're blue raspberry slushies! I

We come here about every Friday for a celebratory snack for a good week at school for the girls. Every so often we will get lunch & love the shakes. Really the only fast food restaurant we go to in town. Everyone is always polite, very rarely we have problems with an order (we usually do the app) & if there is a problem, always an apology & they fix it. We always tip because we never know what this world is coming to. Thank you for the great service in Richmond!

I just felt the need to recognize an employee at this sonic . Stacy . She does her job with politeness and a smile . I didn’t feel like a rushed through customer here. And my order was done right just like I asked .

Ever since my sister-in-law and her significant other has started work there. I go there more often now than before. The food is just so good. Thank you guys for cooking amazing food. To all the employees in this crazy time thank you for continuing to serve us. Keep up the good work Sonic you guys are awesome.

Staff is always super friendly. I always get drinks from here. I personally love Sonic.

Seems as though they have their act together better than any other fast food restaurant in town their food is much better than the others and you very rarely have to wait very long!

UPDATE: there is now a screen to add a tip to your order. YAY
( I wish they had a way of putting a tip on the credit card. A $1 tip should be a menu item and customers could order any number of tips )
They are open till 11 pm, and we went there for ice cream after a late supper. Very yummy.
I like how I can go there poorly dressed and stay in my car.
I go there waaay too often for their ice cream cones.

This is one of the best Sonics I have been to, the food is always fresh and good and the AR hops are always friendly and come around and ask if you need anything and if everything was OK with your order.

Just stopped for drinks to go, waited on promptly order ready quickly and correctly. Friendly lady at drive up, very nice.

Wow! Love my Vanilla Coke lite ice! Food is fresh and served in a timely manner. They always get me through the line fast! Sonic staff .... keep up the great work!

There isn't a better place to get hot quality food quickly in Richmond Missouri. The Owner and his family work here so you don't have to worry about your experience. Eat at Sonic in Richmond Missouri!!!

Love their fish sandwiches, it's a shame that they only have them around Easter now. Otherwise the pretzels and cheese sauce are really good, burgers are typical fast food.

There were quite a few cars and I was skeptical that we would get our food quickly since we were just passing through town but we got our order very promptly and it was correct. Great experience!

Prices are usually cheaper than nearby towns for some reason.

Was a touch slow, but it was packed on a lunch break. Friendly as all get out though!

Service was prompt courteous and food was excellent! I had the the super sonic burger in tots with Vinilla Dr Pepper was great! Was a Wonderful day and I enjoy the music is very relaxing!😁

It was fantastic, the staff was wonderful!! And i received my order is amazing speed

The weather was hot but the malts were delicious
