Brand new! After the remodel the gym has new life! Modern machines and extensive selection of weights. So glad they are investing in this space again. Love the energy of the staff as well.

Several months ago I was disgusted with the up keep of the PG
Plaza LA fitness facility. I used the facility out of convenience.

On a regular basis I would find soap and toilet paper dispensers empty - especially so early sat and sun mornings!!

The transformation has been nothing short of amazing!!
At this point I would with much confidence
Compare the the PG facility to any other with regard to cleanliness and order!

I enrolled and fell in love with this gym! The staff is excellent. They have really good prices and I never have to wait for machines. Really amazing hours and wonderful facility. 12/10

Three days in with La fitness with a free trial pass, and let me tell you, I am not disappointed, highly impressed with the place's excellent equipment and accommodating staff members. Other than that, I wanted to thank Kevin Ortiz for making my experience here more fun; as my tour guide, he was very helpful, friendly and funny, and straightforward. He made me feel welcome, and honestly, you don't get that much in many gyms. I highly recommend you come here to speak with him; he is fantastic at what he does for his customers! I'm Considering a membership here because of Kevin! Keep doing great work!

I really enjoy working out at LA Fitness. It's a large gym and hasa variety of equipment, but I think the main reason I joined the free 7 day membership was for a man named Kevin Ortiz. He was very kind, friendly, and straightforward. He gave me a tour around and was very honest and open about the membership. The equipment was very easy to use and the gym provides a lot of amenities. But if you do consider joining go to Kevin Ortiz. He is bilingual as well which is nice if you want to speak English or Spanish. I am considering joining all because of Kevin. Thanks for being so helpful and considerate!

Left my fanny pack & a lady & gentleman set it aside for me. So grateful for honest people 🙏🏿

GOOD:
1)Gym is clean; staff seem nice - but I don't speak in gyms, so makes no difference to me
2) Sauna is coed which is comparable to most in this area
3) working co-ed steam room also on the pool floor
4) this kids play area is much smaller then Lanham but the young lady here seems more capable to be attentive since it's less space she has to run after kids.
Additionally, although it doesnt have a playground area style, there lots of toys
For the kids to play with instead of running around. This makes it a bit more comfortable to leave younger kids here vs the bigger space Lanham simply because they're doing age approriate things.
5) since the train station is accross the street there is plenty well lit parking in the multi floor lot.

-So far for people with YOUNGER KIDS (ages 7/8 and younger), this gym is on my favorite list.
-if you have OLDER KIDS (8 +) I would consider Lanham

We had a great experience signing up to join the club, were super impressed with team that day and every day since. Huge props to manager Marcos. He is nice, kind and really responsive. He and visiting VP Zack took great care of us and gave us a good deal. Trainers are fab and well worth the money. Super psyched to be part of this community.

Extremely friendly staff! I was first taken aback by how cool their interior design was then luckily, Chastity (I hope I did not misspell that) were able to accommodate us and be extremely welcoming as ever! With that being said, I knew LA Fitness is going to be such a fantastic fitness center when we were helped by Elijah especially with the troubles of understanding membership plans that maximizes ROI in regards to fees vs what you can do! I have been visiting places all around the DMV area carefully looking to experience a thorough yet top-notch customer service, but its been a while since I've last seen Elijah's candor with helping new people find their new potentials. Bottomline: New Years Resolutions are coming right up and no better way to start your fitness journey than reaching out to Elijah. P.S., if you fail your resolutions (possibly again) that's okay, there's no cancellation fee.

Asides the staff being very friendly and kind, this LA Fitness is one of my favorite gyms because they have a steam room which a lot of other locations don't have. Manager Christine and Jennifer always made me feel at home welcomed at this location.

Marcos is very personable and attentive to gym customers and makes everyone feel very welcomed. He is a very good manager with outstanding customer service. Hyattsville is a prime location for LA Fitness.

Love it here. I’m able to get in a good workout then hit the sauna when I’m done. I usually work out for about 2 hours. but the other comments that says no one wipes down or puts weights back is true. But I don’t see how that’s the gyms fault. It’s the members.
