Today (12/09/2023) was the 1st time visiting this vet. My Luna and I were welcomed warmly. After the receptionist put all my dog's info into their system, our wait was about 5 minutes. Dr Khianey and his assistant were very patient w/Luna. They took their time, and made her feel safe during her examination and during her shots. The experience was extremely pleasant! I'm a very happy furbaby parent😊.

Their prices are affordable. They're courteous and professional. I accidentally showed up a day early for my appointment because i mistook a reminder for an appointment and the woman behind the desk was able to fit me in and let me stay and wait for a free moment to get my cats seen. She saved me so much frustration by being flexible. I was so grateful to be seen when i had made the mistake. Small acts of thoughtfulness and compassion like this make a business.

Great customer service. Veterinarian explained my pet's condition, printed out additional materials for me to review and welcomed a call back if I had any additional questions or concerns. When handling my pet, they were very gentle and ensured my pet was as comfortable as possible during the exam. I would highly recommend PG Animal Hospital.

The Doctor was wonderful. He explained everything and was very patient. The staff that picked him up from the car was awesome. She was very kind and understanding. I am so very grateful. I had a positive experience.

Dr. K and tech that came to get my dog were both professional, informative and pleasant. I have a senior dog and they always take outstanding care of my senior dog who has a lot of health conditions.

I was a little anxious about the visit since I knew I couldn't come in with my 1y/o cat. It was her first time at the vet, and I didn't get any complains so hopefully it's because she did good. Overall the visit was great. You call to the office for them to come out and pick up your baby, they explain the whole process (the techs). I also got a called from the vet himself who explained everything he was recommending for my Belle. Definitively coming back for her future medical needs.

Front office was very pleasant and calming for my dog each vet assistant took time to comfort my pet, Once seen the Veterinarian was very knowledgeable and professional gave great advice and very detailed instructions for the care of my fur baby

I've been bringing my senior cat here since adopting her 3 years ago when she was 11. I'm not the most chill pet owner; I'm constantly worried. Both doctors are great and take the time to explain everything & answer questions. Dr. Khianey Jr. has called me back after hours to discuss my cat's diet and other health issues. Dr. Khianey Sr. obviously cares very much about his patients and is very kind and attentive to my cat (even when she hisses at him)

The rest of the staff is great too; especially Carmen who uses some kind of super strength to prevent my cat from running off the table at every opportunity.

I have tried other hospitals that are closer and more convenient, but quickly came back to this one. Most vets in DC are corporate chains these days. Definitely not the same experience as going to this family business.

I love this vet office! Affordable, caring, and professional. They have always treated my dog with compassion and they don’t break the bank with their services.

Staff always makes our visit a breeze - they clearly communicate everything from appointment times/reminders, price breakdowns and any issues that our dogs may have. We were in & out yesterday in about 25 minutes for an annual exam with vaccinations. Our baby was a happy camper all the way home!

PG Animal Hospital is the best! The front desk team's customer service is 2nd to none! Dr. K made room to fit my Duchess in for an emergency visit last Saturday without hesitation AND he immediately saw that she was critically ill and need to be admitted; AND he rapidly followed up early the next day - Sunday morning - with an update on her condition AND diagnosis. I was taking my baby girl to Banfield for 6 years, since I've became her mama ... but now I'm switching her PG Animal Hospital under Dr. K and his amazing veterinary care. Tremendous thanks Dr. K for saving my Duchess. Last Saturday, she entered your hospital lethargic, vomitting, weak from not eating, but when she was released this Monday, she was revived, rejuvenated, and restored back to vibrancy, matter of fact she was smiling her Old English Bulldog grin, she's BACK!!! See you all next week for her follow-up appt ... and beyond!

Excellent veterinary care! The handsome young doctor took good care of my Maltese and knew exactly what he needed to get better. I highly recommend this animal clinic!

Joe's left eye scratched from a play date. When I described emergency, doctor saw Joe that morning. Joe now taking 3 meds, wears a cone and is on way to recovery.

Been coming to PG Animal hospital for 10 years now. The older Dr. Khianey has always been so kindhearted and very caring to his patients. Excellent Veterinarian. Found this hospital online and my dog has been in excellent hands since. The younger Dr. Khianey definitely takes after his dad. Very caring and takes him time to explain in details so you understand everything . And Ms. Aminta 🥰, so caring and sweet. She takes excellent care of your pet children as if they were her own. Highly recommended hospital.

Love this Hospital very helpful and understanding and the staff are so nice and every time I come I never have any trouble with anything .. I will always come to pg animal hospital for everything

2022: The vets are always very kind and helpful. They have gone out of their way to give us information and suggestions. Very glad to have found them!

ETA (2023): The staff continues to be incredible. They are so kind to us and our dog. She gets really anxious and they handle it so beautifully, calling her sweet names and petting her to calm her down. I always recommend this location to my pet-owner friends!

Did not have to wait to be seen long. Answered my questions. Took care of my new puppy like they cared about him too.

Great vets, assistants and customer service. Easy to get appointments and close to Riverdale.
