This 5 star review is for Trish in Jewelry Department. I cannot figure out how to give her a review online. We were searching for an engagement ring in February and JCPenney was our second to last stop. Trish let us look and recommended a beautiful one but we did not immediately buy it until our last stop. We went to one more place and ultimately went back to JCPenney Sedalia to buy the beautiful ring from Trish. She was so personable and kind to us. It truly felt like we’d know her forever. Since then we have been able to see Trish again in and out of the store and let her in on memories made along our engagement and wedding. If you go to the jewelry department be sure to ask for a Trish first!

The sales associate "Trish" at the jewelry counter was very knowledgeable about the products, especially the opals. Extremely courteous and polite as she was already assisting another shopper, but had the decency to acknowledge that she was aware I was waiting and she would help me as soon as she could. She is an asset for your store. I will definitely be back for more purchases.

I always get great service at Penny's. Sue Martin was my clerk. She's excellent and explains all promotions to me.

What can I say about JC Penney,? I'm obsessed with this store!I. I Buy something every time I go In there, Because the customer service is wonderful they always ask if you need help with something which I greatly appreciate. I'm not one that likes to be smothered but they're just like perfect when it comes to that so I appreciate that and they meet up to. All my expectations, so I appreciate their service very much. I always find great deals. When checking out Sue is always so friendly and knowledgeable. I believe she's been with J.C. Penny for over 40 years. She is an inspiration.

I went looking for thermals, tops specifically, couldn't find any, could be out of season,, did find other items, was given a good discount using my card,, store was clean,employees are always helpful and courteous,

The clearance section here can't be beat! Great way to buy next years clothes for cheap prices. Save even more when you watch for special coupons or extra percentage off of clearance!

Great deals. Traditionally for me, a great place to shop. An employee, Donald, is simply one of the best customer service employees that I have ever dealt with. He ought to have a Gold Star or something. He is really...outstanding...I ought to know: I have managed businesses all my work career.

I made a quick stop to check for some shirts and pants, primarily in their Big and Tall section, known as The Foundry. I like their Foundry and St. John's Bay polo shirts, they wear well and fit exactly as I want them to. I can often find good deals, and I also had a JC Penney Rewards coupon I wanted to use before expiry. 10 dollars is ten dollars, I'm just sayin'.

I found serlveral of their $30 polos marked down to $7.49 each, so I grabbed 3, in 3 XLT, and continued shopping. I was keeping my time short, as I was en route back to the depot at home, and my van was having a tire that I was having to stop and fill up to get back to Jeff City, so, after a quick run through the Foundry, I headed forward to check out.

As I approached the counter, the clerk asked for my phone number for my Rewards, and swiftly totaled up my purchases, and with application of the Rewards, I paid $13.50 for 3 excellent shirts, which was better than Walmart, which doesn't even carry my size in-store. It's better than many online stores, too. That's $4.50 a shirt! I do like to actually go to stores to feel the products, too.

Man, I love good deals! JC Penney has helped me build a solid wardrobe between in-store shopping and online purchases. Love the fact that they serve the Big and Tall crowd, and glad to be a customer. Thanks, JC Penney!

Summer clothes are just starting to come in. I found reasonable priced dresses to fit my body style.

Yesterday was extremely busy. The selection is a lot smaller here. It’s a small store. They have Sephora which is great. Staff is friendly.

Went to buy a suit for my 5 year old son completely unaware of what size he really needed. The staff was extremely helpful getting other sizes while I tended him and finding the other items I needed.

When in Sedalia, this is a Penney's that I stop at often, it's either here or Jeff City. They have a nice selection of women's clothes, especially in the larger sizes and the staff for the most part are friendly and efficient.
The day I stopped by last week, I wanted to see if I could do a walk in hair appt, but there was only one stylist on duty and no one behind the desk. I waited for several minutes, the stylist clearly saw me but decided to just concentrate on the little boy's hair she was cutting.
I decided to walk around and ended up, picking out a few things and paying for them quickly. The lady that helped me was very nice and rang up my things in short order.
On the way out, I stupidly left my black walled with my phone and grocery money in one of their black, shopping carts. As I started driving out of the parking lot, I went to reach for it and realized it wasn't with me.
Of course I ran back into the store like a bat out of hell and a look of pure panic on my face.
All I could think of were my credit cards and ID, I seriously thought all was lost. But unlike SoCal where we're from, people in Missouri are much kinder...the same JCPenney lady who had helped me at the register, found my wallet and had just returned it to the sales counter. When she saw my face, she said smiling "I just knew that when the owner of the wallet realized they had left it behind, they would be right back" and then she promptly retrieved it for me.
Bravo lady, bravo!!
