Security Bank of the Ozarks

A nice small town bank, just like the bank I previously used, until it changed it's name twice & then sold out to another bigger bank that really screwed it up. But that's besides the point.

This bank is awesome, when you call, you actually get a live person who is in this branch, not some stupid automated answering system, or customer service in some other city.

They take the time to make you feel important, & heard. They will listen to any concerns you have, and make suggestions on what they can do to solve the issue.

On top of that they have TRULY FREE CHECKING! No stupid monthly service charges for no real reason, that always get taken out at the most inoppertune time.

The only thing I wish they had that they don't, is while they have nice ATM machines, I wish they could accept cash, and check deposits for when the branch is closed. Otherwise amazing bank that I hope to be with for many many many years to come.

The best bank around you don’t have to deal with big corporations and all the fees that come with them. Very friendly staff and easy to work with lenders. Would recommend this bank to anyone in the area.

Friendly tellers. Professional yet friendly owner. Been with this bank for 20 years and have loved it from day 1. Even under old and new management.

The people here treat you like family and are knowledgeable about your banking needs. Very streamlined and professional services.

This so called bank manager is a real piece of work for sure. He actually cursed me out over the phone and was very abusive. I would not recommend this bank to no one not even my worst enemy. Worst bank hands down!
I’m surprised better business bureau in Houston ,Mo has not shut them down!

This is the absolute worst bank I’ve ever done business with. Their hours are horrible, tons of hidden fees, loan agents a complete tool, and when I closed my account and told them the reason was because I wouldn’t ever have a loan somewhere that requires 50% down when I can go to progressive and they only require 20% down. He told me to take my money and get out.... which I gladly did.
