Omg! Idk where to start . I go once a week and the food is beyond off the chain . The buffet price is extremely reasonable. The staff accommodate to the customers needs in every form and fashion . The cleanliness of the facility is great . They have a lot of customers which explains the positive outlook on the food , location, and price . I would highly recommend any and everyone to go eat here . If only I lived closer I would eat there at least 3* a week. I do not have anything bad to say about this place period. The food is always fresh and full of flavor . I love the fact that when you sit down and eat ,the staff come and check on u continuously to make sure you are ok and if you need any refills or anything ... It is just an amazing place to eat with family, by yourself , or with coworkers . I posted a picture just to show you what hey have and it is so much more .

Excellent food and you ask yourself, "How can they serve such great food at such reasonable prices"?!? Best friend chicken I've ever had. They have both a buffet and an la carte menu. Attentive staff. We are from Missouri and stopped for lunch on a trip south. So glad we did.

The food is always cooked fresh, the buffet budget is awesome. Two can dine for under $40..The staff is great, polite and pleasant. The food selection is a variety of meats, vegetables and deserts..the only small thing I wish is they had real lemons instead of lemon drops. Over all 5 stars.

While I've been eating Hudgey's since I was a little girl, I recently rediscovered them during my pregnancy for having an amazing hamburger steak. (For $8 you get a hamburger steak, baked potato, and salad to go... Can you beat that?) I'd been only ordering to go but tonight went in with my husband and two small kids. They had the buffet, I ordered my usual.

The buffet was quite good. All down home, Southern, like your grandma made it food. The salad is cold and fresh, and all you can eat. The drinks are 'self serve' but the waitress/hostess insisted on getting us refills anyway, and our drinks were never empty.

All in all, it might be dated, but the food is a hidden gem and to die for. Don't judge a book by its cover!

We love this place- all you care to eat country cuisine: fried catfish, fried and baked chicken, loads of veggies and sides, a nice little salad bar, and a dessert bar. Fairly affordable for what you get. Never a wait, but the food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly.

They have an awesome buffet. I had different veggies and the fried fish was really good. Sweet tea to add. Desserts are wonderful as well. Friendly staff too.

All food was very flavorable just like Granny and Mother use to cook. I have traveled across many states and small towns to finally find a place with Collard Greens that taste like greens and macaroni and cheese that (oh my God)!, Catfish, salad, the buffet is awesome!!!

I just stopped in to pick up a to-go plate for for me and my husband. Fried fish was excellently cooked, fried chicken breast was good so was everything else.

The best food in Brookhaven, service was outstanding. Pass yo'self on by, and get that feeding bag strapped on.. This food is off the chain good..

Food was delicious! Fried green tomatoes, oh my goodness! Carrot cake & fudge cake were both scrumptious!
