This location is wonderful. really lovely. The views are superb. The cuisine is excellent. Outstanding customer service. Excellent location for a getaway, to detach from the bustling metropolis and reestablish a connection with your loved ones and yourself. Yoga, meditation, reiki, infrared sauna, and foot detoxification are also available here. In case you're looking for the most spiritual route.

We visited the center and stayed in cabin #1. The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and well maintained. We were very comfortable in the cabin. Not having internet and cell service was a bit of a hardship for us as we could not stay in constant contact with needy, sick, minor family members ,business obligations nor research what was available to explore. We did not take kids this trip.they would have loved it! We went with our adult son and wife to drive the dragons trail on motorcycles!! Had an awsome time. We had our trailers. Liz had us park them close to gym/Cafe area, as they could not be secured near cabin, which worked for us. Liz and her family are great hostess, kind, caring, knowledgeable about the area and the cabin and grounds are kept nicely. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us.

Liz and anna are sooo welcoming and always make sure the guest are satisfied with their stay. The heart center offers soo many properties with healing re grounding yourself and its very peaceful.

Great , serene location on the top of a mountain , beautiful surroundings, very helpful staff, very good pricing for this excellently maintained lodge compared to nearby places . Many wonderful trails nearby as well as Breathtaking Fontana lake and Fontana Dam . Yoga classes and Reiki sessions offered to renew , rebuild and recharge you body , mind and spirit . Good hearted people working there ❤❤❤

The Heart Center is a fantastic place to stay! I booked a cabin there through Air BnB, and it was an amazing experience. The cabin was perfect. The wrap around deck was really cool. It had everything we needed, and the forest made us feel very remote. We brought a lot of our own food, and cooking in the kitchen made us feel at home. Using the fireplace for heat was perfect for the fall weather. The rest of the Heart Center is awesome. I want to stay in the yurts next time. Liz is a terrific host. She gave us directions to some of the local sights, and she pretty much planned the perfect day for us. The drive up to the cabins is gorgeous. We stayed here for our anniversary, and it was a really memorable trip. I would definitely stay here again.

If you’re looking to get away and disconnect from your daily grind, this is the place to be! Liz is an amazing host, the cabins are nice, clean and spacious. I love staying here. It’s not my first time either. What are you waiting for? You will love it❤

This is a great place Liz has an amazing energy plus the adventure you will expirence will elevate you to the top. This weekend was my first time in The Heart Center but is not the last one, I will be back to enjoy the place, Liz and the mother earth from the mountains. Food and installetion are amazing.

Awesome experience! The entire thing felt like a very personal experience. Chatting with the owner Liz and her pup Waya were wonderful, having coffee and tea was a subtle touch that makes a big difference when the weather is chilly. The yurts had so much character and the space heater was key for a cold November night! The price was fair and the process was simple! The surrounding area was beautiful and we wish we had planned for more nights! Will definitely be back!

The Heart Center is a magical place for healing. The environment supports, welcomes, and allows for self-healing. The yurts and cabins are situated in the forest and it is a heavenly getaway. There is so much to see around the are as well and Liz is more than happy to give you directions/suggestions on where to go. Liz, an extraordinary woman, is extremely welcoming and accommodating. She offers reiki sessions that are life-changing. I will definitely be back!

I needed a getaway to clear my head and found this place. Liz was such a beautiful soul and such a gracious host. The property was expansive and provided plenty of space and tranquility. Gorgeous drive through the NC Appalachians to get here. Plenty of nice hiking spots nearby. Highly recommend a nice retreat here!

What a wonderful holistic experience right in the middle of the Great Smokey Mountains. I stayed in a Yurt and had a meditation and Reiki healing session with Liz. Liz also listened and gave me some life coaching. She always was attentive to all guests and intentionally checked in on you if she saw you just walking around the beautiful property. It was a powerful experience I am able to bring with me and live in. I would recommend the Heart Center to anyone wanting to retreat, relax, and be filled with joy. I also recommend taking the experience to a another level with life coaching, meditation, and a Reiki healing session to take the experience to the next level.

Liz and Hannah are both so nice and helpful. The cabin in the mountains made for a wonderful setting to make memories. We enjoyed the many trails close by including; Yellow Creek Falls, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Loop, and the Maple Springs Outlook. Liz is a great resource for information on the area and must-see locations.

If you are looking to have an intimate vacation surrounded by nature, this is the place!

This was my second time at the Heat Center. The host is fantastic; she is friendly and very attentive to all our needs. The place is looking better and better with new updates and new tents. The environment is more inviting every time and it's definitely surrounded by peace and beautiful nature. It's a place to rejuvenate and re-energize. The Reiki session was phenomenal and my neck is free of pain. I will return.

We came for the tranquility & nature and the beautiful log cabin called "The Portal" with a awesome view. We wanted to get away from the bustling concrete jungle of Houston. The rustic retreat has a bevy of sports activities like tennis, basketball, hiking etc. The hidden gem is the ability to explore yoga, meditation, etc. You can just dip your toe in this part of the resort or emerse yourself for a fuller more transformative experience. We just dipped our toes but regretfully, wish we had taken advantage of all this rustic scenic beauty offered. P.s. they also have yurts and camping spots, if you want more of an alternative stay.

We loved this place and Liz and her small family. It was a fantastic experience staying in Mongolian Yurt. Its a beautiful place in the middle of the nature. They have a big gymnasium with several activities like Tennis, Cycling, Badminton, etc.,

I am overwhelmed with love for my experience that I recently had at the heart center with Liz. I recently lost my father and had been struggling with my grief. After my weekend and healing session with Liz, I feel lighter and more hopeful for the future. I highly recommend the heart center and am grateful that places and people like this exist in the world. Liz is a spectacular host and all around person. Her retreat is a sight to see, placed perfectly in a quiet setting. Makes for a great relaxing retreat that will nourish your mind, body, and soul.
