I attended this church from the time they opened on Spencer Dixon Rd in the mid to late 1990s until we moved out of state in 2006. We have so much respect for the founders of this church, Apostle Harvey Melton and his wife Pastor Eva Melton and Elder, Brother Al and others too numerous to mention. They teach the Word faithfully, and they care about the people who sit under their teaching. We do not know the younger pastor, Kelvin Worthy, quite as well but we found him to be an anointed preacher. It is not a large church so you may not find the fancy worship music of a larger church, but it is a church faithful to the Word of God. Weekly Bible studies were so good. Pastor Eva also has a gift of healing and faith, and she helped me numerous times and her husband Apostle Harvey Melton taught me so much, helping me overcome fear and anxiety. They are wonderful people and even though it is no longer our home church, we love FOHG.
