Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

It was my first time coming here and they did not disappoint! Their Americana doble cheeseburger was seasoned well and was nice and juicy. The potato croquettes had a beautiful golden brown exterior and had a nice crunch to them, and the fried pickles were phenomenal and served with an exquisite buttermilk and herb sauce. 10/10 recommend to anyone in town!

The waitress was very friendly and food came quickly. Prices were very reasonable. Was $22 for two people to eat well. They seem to have high quality ingredients. Fried chicken on the salad was amazing and the burger tasted like it was made there and not in a factory. Highly recommend.

Went for lunch after church. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Our server, Ethan, was a polite young man, very attentive and checked on us often. Our burgers & fries came out quickly, were delicious and hot. Great customer service. I would highly recommend 😊

I'm a stickler for their shrimp poboys. They load it down too and their fries are so delicious and flavorful! They really bring it with whatever we order there. The courteousness of their employees is sensational! They literally never mess up your order. They were very kind and helpful and REALLY understood the assignment ❤ thanks y'all we really appreciate you

Loved it! Food was amazing! Atmosphere was awesome! Only bad part the waitress did not give me a fork with my salad. Lol. But food was so nummy. Will go back for sure! Price of food was great! You have to go there!! You will love it!

Best burger in town if you want a classic shake and steak style pressed Burger you cannot go wrong. And show some love to the servers. They work hard and always have a positive attitude.

Simple food done right. Nice quick meal, very filling. Staff is all very young and friendly. One of my 7 yr granddaughters favorite spots to eat.

Place is nice and has a reasonably priced menu. We have been here on vacation for four days and already ate at this place twice. Staff is really friendly and you get your food amazingly fast. Food is good and onion rings are amazing.

The food was good and the service was awesome. It's a bit small inside and we had to shimmy past customers who were sitting and eating in order to pay for our to-go order, but that can be avoided by placing the order ahead on the app (this was our first time here and we know better now!) I had the lil' size JB&B BBQ burger with pepper jack cheese and onion rings. It wasn't what I was expecting, but it was still really good! The staff is very friendly and we will be coming back!

The burger I had was very good, the place is very unassuming from the outside, but on the inside is a modernish take on a 60s diner.

I would also recommend their custard.

So good! This was a really fun place that my kids loved! Their meals were served in vintage cardboard cards which thrilled them. Delicious diner food - we were a party of 10 and everyone loved their food. Service was excellent also! You really can’t beat the burgers & shakes! I wish we had something like this closer to home.

The Moose is delicious! Very filling!! The atmosphere is fun, 50's music playing, and the staff is very welcoming and friendly!

The restaurant was great, the food was finger licking. The main thing was the Highway sauce. The server was great I believe her name was Nickki she was an absolutely charm and very polite. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Best french fries and delicious shakes! Burger was pretty good but could have been a little more flavorful. I'll honestly be back just for more fries, sooooo darn good. Friendly staff and decent prices.

Food was excellent, service was friendly and prices were reasonable. We just happen to roll up on this spot and turned out a great choice. It's worth a stop. Get their milkshakes before you go.

Been going here since I was a kid and previously knew it as andy's. Always have loved the retro atmosphere. Will continue to come here and share the experience with my child.

Shrimp Po'boy was as good as I've had north of Louisiana...also had a hot dog and fries...also excellent...the shake looked fantastic,but I dropped it on the ground before taking a sip...next time I'm in the area I will be back...and hold my drink with two hands !!

9/23 EDIT: while we have always loved andes, Highway 55, this past year their food has just been bad. We have actually stopped eating here for the time being not really sure what's going on it seems like they're hiring a lot of young people with nobody managing the place. Every time we've been in there it's like a party's going on but nobody's looking at the food that they're making. It has been extremely inconsistent, oversalted, and just bad. I hate leaving negative reviews for my local places but whoever owns Andy's, Highway 55 needs to step in and figure out what's going on. We used to eat here a couple times a month at least and haven't been back in 2 months.

PREVIOUS:We have been coming to "Andy's", Highway 55 for many years. This is our favorite burger place even over Five Guys burgers. Their burgers are always juicy, hot, fresh, and piled high with whatever you want. They also have homemade Frozen custard. If you don't know what that is you have to stop by and get some. It is the best stuff ever. Rita's has nothing on this place!! My husband loves that they have tots!! Definitely a family favorite restaurant of ours. The staff is extremely friendly and the cooks are good at their job. It can get quite busy in the summertime but it is worth it. If you don't want to wait call in your order!!
