We got there in a company of 4 adults and 4 kids (4,6,7,11 y.o). It was a little slippery, but the rope definitely helped a lot.
The view was amazing 👏

Nice trail. Thank you for people that left ribbon markings and ropes. This a challenging trail; short but steep. I would not recommend little children or elderly to go.

Upper Sols Creek Falls is pretty much a hidden gem in Little Canada. The trail isn’t really marked and it definitely takes some finagling through the laurels to get to but once you arrive it’s worth the hike. You will probably get dirty or literally have to walk through the creek to make your way there. It’s not a walk in the park but that keeps it quiet.

Was recently at the falls. The trailhead from Charleys Creek Rd (SD 1756) now has 2 pieces of orange surveyors tape. It's near a telephone pole. The trail to the falls is steep and slippery and the area down by the stream is slippery as well. But the falls are beautiful. Be prepared to possibly take a slide down and maybe get your feet wet.

Very much an adventure. Lightly used path in the woods. 1/2 mile straight down. Someone left behind ropes which are very much needed on the way down and up. Falls were beautiful.

Amazing falls but tough hike back up and out. It’s worth it but dangerous.

Live locally and have been hiking to these falls for years. We love them. Took our 1.5 and 3 year old last time we went.

Really nice waterfall. Pretty hidden path and the trail was steep and slippery. We had to ask the firemen at the fire department nearby to figure out where the trail is and where to park (basically parked on the side of the road). Some hikers left ropes and pink tape along the trail which were super helpful.

If you could find the trail and hike to the fall, the view is magnificent

Beautiful waterfall but it's not a hike... more of a controlled descent using ropes. Wear good shoes. Not for the faint of heart.

Not for the novice, but great payoff in the end. Just know it’s straight down and straight up. This is a very photogenic waterfall that wasn’t busy the Saturday we visited. One of my favorites yet.

Hard and steep unmarked trail down, but really nice at the end
