Mill Creek Gen Store & Deli Restaurant

We have been getting a Ruben sandwich from hear for two years. We found them online while googling Ruben sandwiches near me. We used to get, the best Reuben ever when we lived in SW Florida. We have found the best Reuben ever at the Mill. The store is so warm and inviting. They carry a wide array of organic and the best selection of deli meats and cheeses. Don't miss out and pass on this store. This is the coolest and fun store you will ever experience. The staff is also very inviting and friendly.

We drive to Mount Airy for this market. They offer a wide variety of groceries and candy that we can't get anywhere else. Additionally, we always eat lunch when we make the trip to shop. The sandwiches/ lunch combo's offer a wide variety of options of fresh vegetables and yummy combinations of deli meat and cheese. The customer service is great! We love this place and it is well worth the 1.25 hour drive!!!

My company does business for them all the time and they are one of our favorite and best customers. Everyone there is great to work with, always friendly, nice, and professional. They have awesome food and always provide great service for all their customers. This store has so many different things to shop for, it is a treat to go in and look at everything they have. They also offer catering. When my wife and I got married they catered our wedding, everything was delicious!!! We highly recommend them to everyone, if you haven't been by there, stop in you will be glad you did!!!

Stumbled upon this store yesterday. Super awesome mix of traditional general store candy, confections, an entire baking section and a large health food and vitamin section. We didn't get to try the deli but will give it a try next time we are in town. They even had cool shirts, furniture, knickknacks and books on history of the area. Seems like good local people own and operate it. We will be back.

Like others in the reviews, we came across this store after moving to Dobson. We've visited twice now. Great array of products. Unique and diverse. The deli counter: they take their time and ask about your particular preference on thick or thin cut meats and cheeses. They put paper between the slices so separating your cold cuts does not leave your slices sticking together. This happens to be huge to me. We will frequent this establishment for sure.

You can find a snack item for everyone at this store. Most items have been packaged at this store. You can also get freshly slices meats and cheeses. They have the most comfortable rocker I have ever sat in for sale. We drove my husband's smaller car so unable to take one home and it is so sad!

I was so excited too see this little treasure while traveling through Mt. Airy, my photos don't even start to cover everything they have. Looking to start fresh this year, you have to check this place out it's awesome, it's a health nut's Paradise.

Came here after the girls basketball game and loved it. The store has all organic healthy food and they have a delit too that serves delicious sandwiches.

On a business trip I stopped here looking for something local and not heavy for greasy and not did this hit the mark. I did a “make my own sandwich” and loaded it to the gills. While waiting I walked around the store and would have gone broke shopping if I didn’t have a meeting to go to. There are so many amazing treats and locally made items that I wanted to try or bring home. The staff and owner were so helpful and nice it felt the most welcoming I had felt during the entire trip! Hidden huge gem for lunch and anything else you need!!

Delicious food! The General Store store has an impressive spice section as well as anything you could possibly need for baking.

I cannot stress how wonderful this place was during my trip to Mount Airy. Every employee I interacted with was also very helpful and friendly.

The absolute BEST things I got from here were the Spinach and Artichoke dip (my family couldn’t stop eating it), Pimento cheese and sourdough bread. 20/10 will absolutely visit again.
