Lamp Post Vintage Market & The Sawmill Dry Goods & General Store

This is my favorite store in Burnsville! There are lots of incredible vintage finds, handmade items, clothing, furniture, baked and canned goods, and so much more! It is so easy to spend time in this shop- getting lost in the midst of the beautiful displays surrounding you. The Lamp Post is truly a treasure on Main Street!

I am a vendor and a patron of tbt Lamp Post Vintage Market. It is my favorite place in Burnsville. There is so much history and local flare at this place. The vendors are all local and provide unique and one of a kind merchandise for your shopping pleasure. It is a destination. If you haven’t been, you need to go. You will not be disappointed.

This is SUCH a cool place! Over 60 different local vendors set up in a gorgeous historic building on Main Street in Burnsville. There is something for everyone here. A must see when you visit!! The owner has clearly worked hard and made this place a unique and amazing experience.

Amazing selection and constantly changing inventory. The owner and staff are so livley and helpful. Has made several magazines due to popularity.

Update: Christmas at the Lamp Post has begun (Nov. 7th, 2023), vendors have revamped there sections for Christmas. Many treasures to be found for decor, gifts and eatables.

New Sawmill General Store has opened on the 3rd floor of the Lamp Post with foods, candy, T-shirts, hats and more. I took a needle felting class here from one of the venders and look forward to taking more.

A unique consignment shop with various dealers with vintage, furniture, wreaths, crafts, edibles and more. Friendly helpful staff and owner.

What an awesome place! I always find interesting and beautiful things. There is such a variety that you can’t leave without a treasure for yourself. The vendors and staff are so helpful and pleasant. Please stop in when you are in the area because you won’t regret it!

Selling a variety of items from vintage to handmade, candies & new items too! I found gifts for a number of people (and myself too). You can get lost in this store as it is 3 floors and has all sorts of rooms and nooks. Each turn brings more goodies.

I love coming to this shop! I go to do Fairy Hair but I always leave with new clothes, sweets and some decorative items. If you love southern vintage, then you need to come here! I especially love my upcountry highland skirts that I have never seen anywhere else! Unique, stylish and old school fashions!

This place continues to grow and amaze! It is a new store every time you visit! Great furniture, beautiful crafts and home decor…. The best curated antiques and oddities….. just a very fun place with super people! A must see when in WNC…. Get them to tell you the history of the building…..

The perfect store ever! Don't let the small size fool you, I have realized that I can get my full wardrobe from this store. Regardless if it's the perfect dress, jeans, or even the perfect smelling candle, everything I need is right there. Trust me, it is worth any drive you have to check out this store, prices are amazing, all sizes for women are covered, including men's and girls items, prices and quality is amazing, and most importantly the customer service is better than any store ever! I travel from buncombe county to Burnsville just to visit this adorable store! The owner is so down to earth and sweet! The clothes are affordable, comfortable, and sooo cute! I highly recommend visiting and shopping! NOW there is a home decor portion of the store added!
