Me and my 4 year old daughter went for breakfast while out running errands.I got to say it was so nice. We loved the vibe and seating. Our waitress was super sweet. She had biscuits and gravy and about ate the plate she loved it so much. I got French Toast and sausage links with home fries. I wasn’t a fan of the taters they was too big of chunks for me. When we went to pay all the waitress would talk to my daughter and where so nice. The best part it feels like a small town in there, no one was a stranger and all so happy and pleasant. Definitely will be back

They had delicious southern comfort food and our waitress was so nice! I had the four-veggie platter and my son had the ultimate grilled cheese which he absolutely loved. They also have Cheerwine! Bonus! We will definitely be back.

Still a family favorite! We like to come here to celebrate big events. Today I got an omelet and tomatoes & Macaroni and my son had the Philly cheese steak Sub. We both had chocolate pie for dessert! Delicious!!

Absolutely loved this place, the food was excellent very tasty. Best service you’d ever expect. Price is cheap. Definitely coming back again.

I discovered this restaurant after spending time at the Mayberry part of town. We came back to eat lunch here after riding our motorcycles up Pilot Mountain. The food was good and decently fast. It was a very busy place. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was good Ol’ comfort food and the place has interesting decor. We went with a pretty large number of people and was seated and waited on decently fast, considering the crowd they had. It is probably will return if I am back in the area.

I'm not much of a rice fan but, the Tuesday Special Stew Beef with Rice and Gravy was really good! The beef is very tender. Also, I ordered the tossed salad which is just lettuce and added pickled beets and the Derby dressing. This went very well together. Our server Ms. Susie is one of the sweetest severs we have met. She will keep your coffee cup full. The hush puppies are very good.

The food and service are both good. It’s friendly. It’s an old building and could use a little remodeling but otherwise it’s great! Good prices.

Wonderful food, the waitress was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed everything! We celebrated my grandparents 56th anniversary eating breakfast before going to "Mayberry"

This is an old restaurant from 1937 , great food !!! Friendly folks makes you think you are in a dinner from the past ,, and you are !
Brings back memories and the food is wonderful!!

Always a great meal. The place is generally full and loud. The variety of things to order is nice. We like the smaller portions menu and cute comment about who can order from it. Someone near us ordered a half chicken fried, that looked really good. Homemade "hot chips" are great, they are not spicy either.

First time eating there, it was great!!! The country style steak sooooo yummy., mashed potatoes creamy. Can't v wait b to go back

Excellent customer service! The food is perfect Southern cooking! Tasty NC Lexington Style bbq and country fried okra, collard greens and get the pickled beets!

My new favorite for southern home cooking in Mt. Airy, the service was fast and friendly and the meals are delicious with healthy portions all for very, very affordable prices. We had the nightly special, Hamburger Steak with sauted onions and peppers that came with a fresh tossed salad and Texas toast, got the mashed potatoes, fried okra, and fried squash. Also got an order of hushpuppies. The fried treats were crispy but not greasy, and the order of green beans were simple but very flavorful.

Today was my first time eating here and it was amazing food!!

Loved this place since I was a child! It's an old building, kinda dark, but the service is friendly and food great!

All Day Breakfast! I got the pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs for dinner. It was yummy!!! My mom got the ribeye and baked potato. So good! I love these old fashioned mom and pop restaurants. You can always count on them to serve delicious food when you’re traveling and need a quick yummy bite to eat.

The fried chicken was delicious! Had to wait for them to fry it but for the price and the taste, it was well worth it. Their potato salad was also very good.
