Ascension St. John Jane Phillips Imaging Services Reviews

I finally have figured out how to add to the review below.
The folks at the sleep center called not long after I contacted them and posted this. They have taken out the scent emitters on the sleep center side of their facility and were very apologetic. However, they were leaving the ones one the other side due to people coming in who do not bathe. Really nice of them to do this. Problem is, for folks with my problem, the air system still circulates that scent. "Normal" people may not even smell the scent, but for "us", it's still unbearable. I did mention this to the person who contacted me and they were going to look into that problem also.
I was pretty humbled that they listened to me, and addressed the problem. As I mentioned in my review of the hospital and staff, also the guy at the sleep center, the staff is exceptional, my care was stellar.

My earlier review:
A pointless two and a half hour round trip to Jane Phillips Sleep Center in Bartlesville and back home tonight. When I entered the building it was like being hit in the face with a wall of scent. The nice guy who let me in thought it might not be so bad in the room. It was. By the time I escaped, I was dizzy, sick at my stomach, and having an asthma attack. What brain trust puts something like that in a medical facility?! There were foot tall scent emitters above every single fire extinguisher!!! I could literally TASTE it!! Even if someone didn't have chemical sensitivity, or asthma, as I do, what if they just didn't like the scent? They're stuck with it for the night! Now, the test I need to help find out why I had such a rough attack of afib (never had one before or since) that I had to be taken to Jane Phillips by ambulance can't be done.
These chemically reproduced scents that so many love are categorized as carcinogens! KOAM did a news special segment a few years ago and this was just one of the things they discovered about room deodorizers, perfumes, colognes, etc.
If a scent emitter is in a public restroom, I must quickly leave and find another, scent free bathroom. Sometimes that has meant going to multiple bathrooms before finding one I can use. Taking a walk in the evening? If someone is using scented dryer sheets, I must either turn around or hold my breath until I've passed. Going to a public function? I sometimes have to repeatedly move until I'm no longer sitting where someone is wearing scent. Sometimes I just have to leave.
I am so tired of fighting this. I've had people tell me it's all in my head, or that I just don't like scents. The allergists I've gone to have assured me it is a real thing. It is not an allergy. You know what the only "cure" is? Avoidance. That's it. I have broken down in tears so many times over not being able to go somewhere I want, or in this case tonight, NEED to go. I've met many folks who also have this, some far worse than I. KOAM reported some folks who cannot even leave their homes due to this problem. I met a lady at a program at the Independence, KS JUCO who couldn't even use inhalers for her asthma due to being so reactive to chemicals.
The worst thing? Nothing I can do.

My mother had an MRI. We took the disc to the doctor in Tulsa and he was amazed how blurry and unprofessional it was. It was useless to him.
