Very clean very friendly...always very nice and respectable...my guy is treated very well so far.

The staff is so rude. I understand it’s a correctional facility and the “tough guy” attitude plays the part, but there is no reason to be rude. If someone calls to check on a loved one or has some questions, whether you can answer them or not, just be polite! Having a loved one that’s made a bad choice to land their self in jail is hard enough.

Great way to take time out to understand what is important in life. Food was excellent in comparison to some similar places like this business. They did overcharge for there services.

To slow on letting out

Understaffed, dirty, food is bare minimum.

Went to jail here back when I was in my twenty's for a minor altercation, drinking and driving I think, a long time ago. This police station will hunt you down and track you, as well as keep tabs on you until they find the perfect opportunity to ruin your life. I was also thrown in the worst block, for example they put me in a block with people who were on there way to prison for life or 25 to life. They knew what they were doing, and I will say it again as many times as it takes to end the racist ideology they embrace.

Cmon it’s jail, food sucks the company sucks and they treat people like animals. They do nothing for taxpayers that are supposedly innocent but act like it takes hours to process bail, sometimes days. Been twenty years since my overnighter

It's not fit for anyone and is understaffed, nasty food and takes to long to be released and it's unfair that female inmates have to wear a jumpsuit

Breonna Thompson has failed. Not sure if education [weak degree], ability,experience, or budgetary and/or administrative support from County are responsible for poor performance, but the facility's governing Board is responsible for determining. Read today's front page Oklahoman. Board hasn't delegated: retaining oversight responsibly, they have gifted and abandoned this facility and Thompson escapes accountability.

I was in for a public intox. I was there because I made a bad mistake. There was a young man who was mentally handicapped, been in for 6 months because he ran from the cops after trying to commit suicide. He had no family, no home. Couldn't get out because of a $300 bond. These people are worse than evil.

Posted bail for someone and have so far waited over 5 hours sitting in their parking lot. I have never in my life encountered such a group of unprofessional and extremely rude folks. In my personal opinion they should all be dismissed. If I knew who to contact I would not rest until these jerks were dismissed. I guess you get what you pay for.

I have never been there, I have heard horror stories from my friend's who have.
When a person is diabetic and reqiure life saving medicine, the guard's and nursing staff best quit using 'she or he' is "FAKING IT" ! !
If someone is having a seizure, HEY! THEY AREN'T FAKING IT ! !
Don't FEED someone something you WOULDN'T feed your KID'S ! !
I believe the jail should be investigated by the OSBI for lack of education for the guard's, just hired on a whim.
These "jailer's" need to attend Anger Management for 6 week's, complete standard classes for Human Science, Psychology/Psychiatric degree a bonus for the applicant's.
Female Jailer's and Male Jailer's should be separated to individual unit's. Not integrated where Male jailer's come in contact with a female inmate.
No I do not want to work for this facility.
My opinion, change need's to happen before something terrible goes wrong.

Added information: since this post, I have been wrongfully arrested last year by Officer Starkey acting on a fictitious complaint of Disturbing The Peace. In doing so, Jessica Kay Stallings (the complainant) killed my 13 year old cockatiel, Stormy
She knew I had a bird as well as 3 cat's.
Jessica Kay Stallings is a living, breathing psychopath. The devil herself when on meth. She should be in a controlled environment as she is a danger to herself and others
I was definitely correct about the food at the Pottawatomie County Detention Center. The food is definitely not suitable for human consumption. And you freeze to death in almost Arctic temperature's. Their excuse is to keep the smell down 😂
If people took shower's they wouldn't have to worry about "smell" 😁

I was incarcerated at Potawatomi jail in Shawnee for two months and every single night you get fed bologna and bread. The breakfast isn’t even worth getting up for. They are overcrowded. Three people in a two person cell. Nothing to drink whatsoever. This place isn’t fit for animals let alone humans! This place should be closed down
