Paul's Place Steakhouse

Visited our favorite location on 7/28/23 for lunch. We ordered our favorites Spicy Chicken Alfredo with Grilled Blackened Shrimp & Regular Alfredo with Grilled Chicken Breast. We have found no one else compares to Paul's when it comes to their Alfredo. We also ordered the Spinach Artichoke Dip. I don't usually like this kind of dip but make an exception when we visit Paul's because we know it will be good.

Our server Crystal was excellent. She was there when we needed her without being intrusive. She's friendly & provides excellent service. I always know when she's our server that our dining experience will be good & there won't be any problems that arise during our meal. We look forward to visiting again very soon.

Traditional steakhouse in Shawnee with great food and a staff who is well trained in traditional excellent service. Our waiter, was fantastic! Perfect timing, always arriving when needed without prompting. Never interrupting or skulking about. Seasoned, he knows the business and is able to provide mouthwatering assistance in navigating the plentiful offerings. The chef his accomplices are definitely worth a shoutout, as well, for executing beautifully every course. AMAZING Experience!!!

Absolutely the best of the best in Shawnee and surrounding area. Hands down my favorite place to eat. Staff is ALWAYS too notch, kind, courteous, attentive. These Ladies remember me every time no matter how long it's been in-between visits. Love the laid back atmosphere, no rush, relaxing and the most enjoyable dinner out ever!!! The food, awww, so spot on, every time. Juicy, hot, and sumptuous. It's a treat to myself. Thank you for the greatest meals ever. Wished I'd have taken a photo.

We went for lunch on Valentine's Day. It was very busy. It was our first time. Our waitress was very sweet, courteous, and very attentive. The food was delicious. We had a drink before our meal, an enree each, and split a dessert. The tab was $51, which we thought was very reasonable. The servings are not huge so don't expect a to go box. Appropriately sized for lunch. My husband had the salmon and I had the shrimp scampi. I would have preferred if the scampi would have been served with a few noodles or a light serving of pasta, but the sauce was creamy and very filling. The salads at the next table looked awesome. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was pleasing. I would definitely recommend. Facility was not wheel chair friendly that I could tell. I did not see a ramp and there were stairs to the east entrance If there was another entrance, I did not see it.

5 stars just for the steak! Great flavor on my NY Strip. Baked potato with fixin’s could have been better, but the rolls were good. Salad was, meh.

Always excellent! We have never had a bad meal there. Atmosphere is lacking, but the good food makes up for it. Server's are exceptionally friendly. Our goto steak option even though we don't live in Shawnee.

Oh my! This is truly a treasure of flavor! Most excellent all the way around. I had steak and baked potato. Can't wait to experience the chicken fried steak. I hear it's amazing. Service was superb.

I can not remember her name but she was our waitress on Saturday night (11/12/23) she was blonde, short, nose piercing. She was absolutely fantastic. My tea was never less than half full, she was very attentive to my kids, and made superb recommendations. Will most definitely be back.

The bad reviews here are either shady competitors or folks who really had a bad day. At least one is a flat out lie.

Paul’s place is a staple in the Shawnee community. Excellent steaks and pasta. My definition of medium rare might be a little different than theirs, so I would advise ordering rare if you’re a “pink center” medium rare person; but even cooked to medium, the steaks are still tender and well seasoned.

Ordered a New York strip, Caesar salad, baked potato and cheesecake via DoorDash this evening. Everything was so delicious. The steak had an amazing flavor and just the right amount of char. The Caesar salad was great. Everything arrived hot and packaged with care. Thanks for a wonderful dinner.

Had a date night here for the first time. It was a nice atmosphere and felt private. The service was good and the food was delicious.

For the 2 "Bland" reviews, please seek help for your sodium addiction. I am a big fan of salty food, yet the food at Paul's Place seemed spot-on (perfect) to me. And for the "Rude" review, more than "One" word would lend credibility to your opinion. We found the staff to be exceptionally accommodating! The food is top quality. The atmosphere is cozy & relaxing - not cramped or loud (very refreshing). We will DEFINITELY visit again. Highly recommended!

Was out on dinner date with our best friends for valentines day. Katie took very good care of us and we will definitely be back.

My Son & I are here from out of town & we went here this evening for steak I had the New York strip & he had the Rib eye,they were both cooked to perfection & I had salad & green beans with mine he had a baked sweet potato & salad he also had appetizer, hot spinach dip, baked potato skins loaded, & cheese bites everything was fantastic I wish I could remember the waitress name she was excellent very prompt & a great attitude, i/we definitely recommend this place and will go back when we are in the area

My husband and I were just passing through Shawnee and decided to visit Paul's Place. We hadn't been there in a while.
They have their fall cocktails available. YUM 😋.
Their food, drinks, service & deserts are always #1.

Husband & I stopped in for lunch. We ordered Paul's Mixed Platter for appetizer with cheese curds, fried green beans & Spinach & artichoke dip. It was fantastic! We both ordered the ribeye steak. I had salad & asparagus with mine while he had salad & fries. Everything was absolutely delicious!! Cooked perfectly! & can't say enough about our waiter, Lonnie, he was great, fast & friendly. Very good at his job! We will be back!👏👏👏
