This is the best Mexican food I’ve had anywhere. Period.

I’ve been going here at least once a week for the last two years. It’s that good. Their salsa is made fresh daily from the ingredients they have on hand and all of their plates are delicious and also a great deal. At other restaurants I never ate the rice and beans, but here they are magic. Any time I bring friends or family here they are blown away. The family who runs the restaurant and supermarket are friendly, welcoming, and go above and beyond to deliver a fantastic experience. I’m moving at the end of the month and will miss this place so much. I couldn’t recommend it more!

This place is amazing. Family owned and run and where the recipes and techniques have been passed down for generations. Expect a place run by a family doing what they can on their amazing talent and history and you will not be disappointed. To me it felt like going to grandma's house to get the best cooked food you've had in forever.

The food is authentic Mexican food and it is wonderful. The people are friendly and helpful. If you want real Mexican food not texmex give it a try. The fajitas are amazing. We love it and drive from Chelsea to enjoy meals there.

The food is fantastic here. Sit down have a bottle of coca cola these I think are bottled in Mexico using real sugar. Don't forget to get some bread or pastries. Yummy.

We were staying overnight nearby while on a cross-country trip. Most everything downtown was closed, so we decided to try this place based on the good reviews, and walked there from our hotel. Very authentic, and cooked to order. I hand the most excellent Burrito de Carne Asada and my wife had a really awesome quesadilla. Wonderfully friendly owners as well who want to make sure you are happy! When they noticed we were on foot, she insisted to have a friend drive us back to the hotel since it was getting late. Such friendly and helpful people! With a place like this, there simply is no reason to go fast-food for Mexican! Thank you La Tienda El Rioncon!

My favorite authentic place in town! Love the owner and her family, when my kids are w me i don't have to worry abt the whole "set down and be quiet" mentality restaurants often expect from small children. Food is cooked to order not like other 'authentic' food you'll find around town

This is authentic Mexican food! Norma is an amazing lady and her family rocks out some amazing food! Best place in town for real authentic Mexican food!

Excellent food me I love the flavor that the cooks has an excellent flavor or seasoning in her plates.
My favorite dish is Caldo de Res.
And Junior sandwich.

Why are they closed on Tuesdays? Because they don't care about your Gringo, "Taco Tuesdays" nonsense. They are the real deal in Mexican food and if you won't take my word for it, roll up in there with a hangover and $7.00 for a big bowl of menudo for yourself and that friend that you found on your bathroom floor. Pick up an order of al pastor quesadillas while you're there. They can stay warm on top of a low set oven and you will weep tears of joy instead of pain at the blend of spices.

Best real Mexican food in town with a fair price..I recommend carne asada torta with everything

Absolutely the best food in the area. Burrito is big and delicious. Tortas are also delicious. Reminds me of home. They also sale groceries and meat. 10/10

If you are looking for a hole in the wall, this is the place. Food takes a while, but it is worth it. The owner makes it fresh.

Delicious. Always good and worth the wait so have patience. It's just her there by herself.
