Alicia is a breath of fresh air in an industry where many people just want to take your money. She is honest and very knowledgeable. You really can tell how passionate she is about what she does. I just had my first visit with her after having spent many years going to another place for laser tattoo removal. After just that one visit with Alicia, I knew that I made the right choice to come see her. And I thought that with such great reviews, her prices would be higher. No, her prices are very affordable! Please trust these reviews. I am in no way affiliated with Alicia Skin & Laser Clinic. I just am trying to save someone else from going through what I did and for the years and $$$$ that I wasted not coming to see Alicia first.

If you are like me and ask a lot of questions before you start treatments or try something new I hope this review can help you.

I called around to a lot of places and took a lot of time to research my options for removal. Out of all the places I called Alicia took 15 minutes to talk to me over the phone and very calmly answered all of my questions. Based on the experiences I have had (3 sessions) I would like to provide some feedback/information to those who are looking to get a tattoo removed.

1 - No tattoos are the same, I thought since it was black ink it must be like all others, Alicia informed me that there are millions of reasons why no tattoo is the same from the type of ink to how deep the artist goes. For this there isn't an official set number of sessions it will take to remove your tattoo.
2 - You may wonder, "how can I not know how long it will take?!" this is a big thing I struggled with until I found out - a big part of the process is YOU - are you staying hydrated after a session? Are you keeping the right sunblock over the tattoo? Depending on the location of the tattoo it may take longer than others (mine are on my ankle/feet) - which typically take longer. I thought that I could schedule more appointments closer to time and this shorten the process, it isn't something you can rush. Alicia was very clear that she can only do as much work as your body will allow, meaning you have to give your body time to process the treatment.
3 - Alicia is very quick to get you in and out if you are on a tight time budget, the trick is to get a couple ice packs and ice the respective locations before you arrive.
4 - Pricing - As I mentioned above no tattoos are the same - for this I can only say that the only way to know is to meet with Alicia and have her measure them. There was no pressure from Alicia during my entire "discovery process".

Please remember all the information I have shared are my thoughts and opinions. - Alicia is the subject matter expert on this.

I am very happy with my results this far and will continue to utilize Alicia's services until my tattoos are removed.

*** Update 4/3/17***
I have been at this now for a little over a year and would like to share my experience thus far.

I have seen a huge change in my tattoos one of them is actually almost gone! - super excited.

A few things I have learned:
1. this takes time so don't rush it.
2. no tattoo is the same.
3. I wouldn't go anywhere else in the upstate for this procedure check around Alicia is very open and honest and makes this process easy to manage.

I used to see Alicia every 6 weeks, since my tattoos are close to being gone we are only meeting every 2 months and soon every 6 months. That being said the main thing I say over and over in this review is that it takes time. I can't wait to be tattoo free by this time next year (fingers crossed).

I loved my facial Mary Lauren gave me! She was very professional and knowledgeable. My complexion looks better after just one treatment and she gave me a lot of good advise to help maintain and clear my skin. The massage with the facial was relaxing and needed after a long day of work.

This was the first time in a while I didn't have a negative reaction to any of the products when getting a facial.

I can't wait to go back and I am so glad I found this place!!!

Alicia is removing a tattoo for me. The experience has been great. She knows what she is doing and is careful to explain the post care to me. The laser pulses so quickly during a treatment that I barely have time to be uncomfortable. It does sting a bit, but Alicia reminds me every time to put an ice pack on the skin. And it really makes a difference! I've heard people say the removal treatments hurt just as much as getting the tattoo, but that has not been my experience at all Thanks Alicia!

I just went in for my third time for tattoo removal on June 16. Alicia does a good job of getting you in and out (the last time probably lasted 10 minutes). Heres how the procedure goes you will ice the tattoo for 20-30 minutes before, then come in to the office and go to the back room. The next part is the laser removal that causes mild pain with little to no bleeding or scars. She also says to drink water every hour for 2 weeks after. I definately can see alot of fading after each treatment! I Highly reccommend!

Found Alicia by googling tattoo removal places in Greenville and surrounding areas and I'm very happy I found her! I had been going to a tattoo removal place in N.C. for over 2 years and because of one appt with an inexperienced person, I was left with terrible scars. I came to Alicia trying to find a way to get rid of the scarring and after some pondering she presented me with a treatment she wanted to try on me to see if it would help. I must say that the scarring has decreased significantly from what it was before I came to see Alicia. I wish I knew about her before I started the whole process. Soon I'll be starting laser treatments to remove the remaining ink. Thanks so much for everything Alicia!

She shared so much knowledge with me on the very first day. I had previously been going somewhere else and they have left a scar on my back. Alicia told me exactly what she was going to do, how it worked, and what the end result should be. I am very happy with her work so far and recommend her to anyone looking to have a tattoo removed. Go see Alicia first!!!

Fabulous experience! I made an appointment with Mary Lauren for a facial and was impressed by how professional yet comfortable my experience was at Alicia's. The staff was very knowledgeable and the detail to service unmatched. There was a pretty box to place my jewelry in during my treatment, Altoid mints(just in case), beautiful blankets and towels, tranquil music, and water offered afterwards. You get the results of a medical treatment with the feeling of a spa. Best of both worlds!

I can't express my gratitude to Mary Lauren Antici at Alicia's Skin and Laser Clinic enough! I went in with fairly low expectations because I truly thought my skin was past the point of no return, but after an Obagi facial by Mary Lauren, my skin looks and feels many years younger. She takes her time and truly wants to help her clients feel and look their absolute best. She is so caring and friendly, and the facilities are very nice as well. I highly recommend this spa!!!

I have never written a review on Google before but I wanted others to here from a happy client about how great it is to work with Alicia. I have used so many different products and had many different treatments for dark spots on my face, I went to Alicia for a consultation, she didnt charge me. She sat back and actually listened to my concerns. She advised me a treatment plan and I purchased the Rx products. I had a follow-up after 10 days and then after 30 days and I now see Alicia every 3 months for a follow-up. people always ask me what I use on my skin. I tell them, it's Obagi! But I also tell them that they need to go see Alicia because it's not just the product; it is also working with someone who knows skin, their job & loves it. I dont know what I would do now if I didnt have Alicia in my life. She is AMAZING!!!!

This clinic is great, but the true GEM there is Mary Lauren. Mary Lauren has a passion for skin care and education that is superior to any other skin care professional I have ever met. As a physician myself, I can say that I trust her completely. There are many places in Greenville to have a facial and skin services, I drive an extra 30 minutes to see her, IT IS WORTH THE TRIP.

A waste of money and time in my experience. On my first session I was first told my ring tattoo would be difficult to remove because of one of the colors. Furthermore, the technology didn’t exist that would remove green. I went to two sessions and didn’t not see any results on either color. Shortly before my third session I received a text message and an email stating my appointment was cancelled and I would receive a follow up response for the reason. I didn’t receive a response nor did I receive an apology. This is very unprofessional and the service was not what I expected. I recently went to another skin care professional in Easley and within one session I can tell a major difference on the results of my tattoo. I would not recommend Alicia unless you are willing to take a chance on wasting your time and money.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE NAME OF "ALICIA CLINIC "! There is no clinic, there is a laser technician who goes by Alicia that goes place to place. I was trying to reach that woman several times. I finally called her previous provider work place. They said she is no longer working there. They also advised me to never go there . Evidently she has no esthetic license, and never had them . She is illegally doing lasers treatments. She caused a great damage to that place and provider lying and stealing from them..I was shocked learning the truth . How many people do not check their providers out there , trusting their words, putting themselves in huge risk and paying big bucks! DO NOT BE FOOLED !

Ugh! I have been waiting years to get my tattoo removed. It was part of my bucket list. I went to this place. Got my first treatment (after my additional $50 doctor visit with the doc on the same premises) and all went well. I was thrilled. It took. Good longtime to heal. But after several months I called to schedule another treatment. She said “I’m sorry but I am currently not working.” I ask now or ever? Got a blah blah blah answer from her. I asked if there is anyone else at the clinic that can do it. She said, “They dont have a Laser for tattoo removal. You can try calling Wanda she is in Anderson. When I’m able to work I will not be going to that office.” So who’s laser is it at the clinic? Was it HER clinic? Her machine? Nothing but “give me a call”. From her. This is sketchy. I have no idea who “Wanda from Anderson” is. Anderson is like more than an hour from me. So it is probably good that she is not doing this anymore. Serious business practices questionable.

Very deceiving with prices I was told initial consultation fee would be $50 and it would be credited towards procedure if I did it that day.once I got in the back it all changed I was charged $50 initial consultation plus $125 for procedure and a $50 doctor's fee what I assume was going to be a $100 visit turned into a $225 visit for a tattoo less than one square inch and they worked on me for 5 mins training
