I had a Margarita flight, omg luv it 😍. Had queso as an app so good it was white queso. And the brisket grilled cheese, it was toasted perfect and so delicious.

I got 3 of there pies to go as well the pecan🥧 chocolate 🍫 and banana 🍌. Will be coming back for sure.

I would absolutely positively recommend this place. The decor was adorable, the staff was the friendliest staff ever, the food was great. Robert was our waiter and did a great job. I asked for a box to put the few remaining chips and salsa in he just brought me out an entire bag to take home. He recommended the queso burger and it was great. We got the fried green tomatoes as an app and they were fantastic!

This is the place to eat if you’re in Blanco. Really great burgers with homemade pickles! Great fries and the other items on the menu looked great too — lots of variety. We were driving through and asked a local where to eat. Really cute building, new, only 3 years old. Perfect small town Texas restaurant that definitely could compete with most cafes in larger cities for both the food and the construction/design of the restaurant. We took pie to go because they are all homemade and they look delicious! We were too full to eat them there. Will visit again.

We were lucky the weather cooled off during our evening and dinner on the patio was lovely. Loved our meals and the service was excellent. Enjoyed the view also. I had the chicken salad, my husband had a Turkey guacamole panini and my son had the brisket grilled cheese. We got the bourbon pecan pie and a chocolate chip cookie to go!

Absolutely delicious!! We stopped after our sons football game in the area and so glad we did. Great atmosphere and service. We have already decided to come back in a couple weeks when our travels bring us past here again. You will not regret anything on the menu!!

Our dining experience at Josie's Kitchen was exceptional. The meal and drinks were excellent, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an outstanding restaurant in the Blanco area. The staff were welcoming, polite, and attentive, adding to the overall positive ambiance of the restaurant. Our group indulged in the Mahi special, which was delectable, and we look forward to returning to sample other dishes on the menu.

This place was absolutely fantastic and completely unexpected in small town Blanco. The service was phenomenal, Lina left us wanting for nothing. Refilled my tea at least 4 times. It started with the best from-scratch chips and queso we have ever had, then took it up a notch when the best Ruben and Cheese Burger we had ever had were set in front of us. Even with it 102 outside was a nice cool 70 inside. Great job to the owners of this place.

My husband and I stopped here on our way through Blanco recently. It's a really cute little cafe. The pies and pastries in the display case looked amazing. But, let's talk about the dishes we did try. I ordered the brisket grilled cheese, the hubby had the patty melt. I talked about this grilled cheese ALL weekend. The brisket was real smoked brisket not store bought BBQ that gets dried out when cooked, it was so tender and juicy. They piled on lots of cheese, but not so much that it overpowered the sandwich. And let's talk about this serrano aioli. It was so delicious, and a perfect addition to the sandwich. I did try the patty melt, and it was probably one of the best I've ever had. Staff was on top of their game and so friendly! I will definitely be adding Josie's to my "go to" list for lunch.

Def a gem to find. Had the south side panini and goat burger. Goat burger is the bomb! 💯 eating here again when I’m driving through.

Food was fantastic and for a quaint spot, the portions were far from. Everything we had was delicious - Cuban, Queso burger, and chicken sandwich.

Love this place! Go to place when going through Blanco . The service and food are always good. Nice view of the river on the outside deck when the weather is good with pets allowed outside.

We discovered this little jewel completely by accident but are really glad we did. Josie's food was delicious and extremely fresh. The portion sizes were super generous. The man at the counter was incredibly cheerful and polite; he made us feel really welcome. If you are looking for delicious food with personalized service, this is the place to go. 10/10 would eat here again.

Josie's was a nice surprise. The fried green tomatoes were hot and tasty. Caprese panini was filled with nice mozz and pesto, and we were pleasantly surprised by a nice vinaigrette for the fresh green salad. Bourbon pecan pie was first rate. It's a comfortable restaurant, nothing too fancy. We'll return when passing through.

Decided to visit Josie's upon recommendation from Airbnb host and Yelp reviews. We visited on a Saturday around 4:30pm for an early dinner, we glad we did because as we sat there people started to come in and before we knew it the little dining room was packed with the supper crowd. Upon sitting ourselves the server came over to bring us menus and take our order. We decided to get a Cesar salad with grilled chicken ($5 add on) and a Cubano panini with fries upon being told it was a favorite. Food came out within 10-15mins, which was reasonable given volume and the fact that it was all freshly made. We were really pleased. Both entrées were a good portion for the price paid. They both were tasty and flavorful. The chicken was juicy and tender, but had that grilled flavor. The post roast meet inside the Cubano was done just right. It was honestly one of the best Cubano paninis I have ever had, the dressing and pickles were not overpowering, which tends to be an issue with this item. Fries were decent. While sitting there we saw a few other plates come out and they all looked great. They have a variety with sandwiches, burgers and some Tex Mex flare like nachos and queso. Overall, we enjoyed it and it was worth the visit. Glad to see that a local place putting out good food was surviving and thriving. We look forward to dining in again next time we drive through Blanco.

Food wonderful and fresh. Good portions and very flavorful.
The atmosphere is cozy southern charm and they have custom changing tables for mothers and their newborns.

You can sit outside or inside and the staff was super friendly.

Megan was a wonderful server and guided me into picking something I absolutely loved.

I had the turkey guacamole panini with fries with their house made ranch.

Will DEFEINITELY BE BACK if I come through this area.

Our family decided to pop in for some dinner after a day on the river. We absolutely loved everything about this local treasure. The decor, the food and the service were superb. Linda our waitress was very sweet and even split our CFC into two bowls for us which was a nice surprise. The staff made great suggestions; we tried them all. Best chicken Fried Chicken I’ve ever had! The gravy was velvety smooth. We will be sure to come back next time we’re in Blanco!

Great food! Everyone was happy. The Real Ale coffee porter was a great finish to the fish and chips! Thank you, Riley, for the great service! Everyone was so friendly.

Hidden gem!! Nice deck overlooking the river. Quality of the food is top notch. Sadly didn't have enough room for dessert. Maybe next time.

We had almost everything on the menu. The brisket fries and chips and queso were hits with the whole table.

We ordered the brisket grilled cheese, the caprese panini, the French Dip, the chicken Caesar salad and a kids grilled cheese. I wanted the shrimp and grits but they were sold out so I'll have to go back.

We finished off with a piece of bourbon pecan pie and a chocolate pie.

Everything is scratch made. The food is great and the price is right. Can't wait to get back.
