Cavo Coffee

My friend took me to this cafe for a quick iced americano (which it was super good, i love me some strong coffee flavor) and thanks to the recommendation of the staff I had a pretty good breakfast. It was a mushroom cheese and spinach danish WITH and egg on top. They have a nice lil kitchen so i believe they can customize your food as well. Loved the ambiance of the store and the big windows. I’m definitely coming back :)

Everything was fantastic. The baristas were able to do everything and were helpful. They were friendly and personable. The knew how to make a cortado so well.

The food was clean, fresh, and delicious. It’s small but convenient and has all the right vibes.

The only thing that could make this place better is more wall outlets. I was easily able to find a spot with an outlet but it does get busy here and if I hadn’t been early, I might not have been so lucky. I can recommend the Avo-Cavo Toast and the readymade chicken ceaser wrap.

This is a gem. If you need food, coffee, or pastry, stop by in Houston! It’s so so good! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely amazing coffee and friendly staff. If you're looking for third wave coffee in Houston this is the place. We stopped here two days in a row because it was so delicious! Got the breakfast sandwich as well which was super tasty. I definitely recommend Cavo Coffee to any coffee lover!

Delicious espresso! Good variety of baked goods. Friendly and helpful staff. Tried the iced Americano and the toast and jam - a perfect midday snack! The butter was soft and ready to spread, very flavorful. The blueberry jam was sweet, with whole berries in it. Seating was available, as was parking.

The baristas were very knowledgeable and helped my husband pick a tasty sweet coffee treat and my iced matcha latte was nothing short of perfection.

Clean and chic with good internet connection. The Earl Grey scones was delicious and they could warm it up as well.

Are you looking for immaculate vibes? Are you looking for knowledgeable and incredible queer friendly staff? Are you looking for coffee so good it will make your heart sing? Then come to Cavo. No fuss, no muss, and the only a-holes here are of the Volvo/tennis skirt variety.

Good news, they don’t work here!

Bad news, they do like good coffee apparently.

Whether it’s the incredible coffee roasted by Viv or the incredible service of William, Peter, Sol and the gang—when you’re here, people take time to make you a perfect cup. This is the place where you can ask questions and be adventurous via barista’s choice.

I’ll be real, the corn cookies are best when Valentina pulls them right out of the oven, but warming them is a close second.

Also, don’t be cheap. This coffee is excellent and the food is made to order (besides the baked goodies, but again Valentina will make sure your cookie is delicious.)

I almost didn’t want to write this review, because I don’t want you there.

But, as a good deed, I’ll tell you the truth.

Ordered a caramel mocha and nutella cookie for about $9.00. Overall coffee was sweet and creamy. Cookie was okay. It was a bit drier and crumbier than I would have liked (as opposed to soft and gooey) but thats more of personal preference. Parking was not too bad as I was able to get a spot on the side, but there is also some parking across the street. The overall interior is clean and great environment for studying with adequate wifi and plenty of tables!

Great coffee shop for doing work & studying! Nice, quiet ambient with fast internet and lots of seatings. Parking is a little tight but not too bad! :)

I tried the chai latte and the red velvet underground latte (which is apparently seasonal). The chai latte was okay, but I cannot stop thinking about the red velvet underground drink!!! I have to go back for it. The place was pretty busy, but the service was still excellent.

This is a very nice spot. Coffee is good. Fair prices. The staff is attentive and welcoming. They have a bike rack INSIDE the building! Not sure if that belongs to them or their neighbor, but that is a huge plus for me.

this was my first time here. I ordered a flat white with one of their seasonal syrups along with their avo-cavo toast and everything came out pretty fast considering that it was fairly busy today. both the flat white and toast were amazing and the staff are very sweet and accommodating. also, whoever picks the music here has great taste. the only thing I would look out for is the wifi. my devices were connecting, but for some reason i wasn't able to access the internet. usually things like this are out of the staffs control so I dont think that should affect my rating of this place, but I wanted to include it in this review in hopes that the managerial staff might see it and address it hopefully. other than that, ive enjoyed my meal here. I got a lot of studying in. thanks for the good food and atmosphere!

This was my first time at this coffee shop. Though I am not a coffee drinker, I do love me some good chai! Cavo did not disappoint. The cashier was very patient with me and took time to describe in detail the different chai/tea options; which I appreciated :) I didn’t feel rushed or dismissed while ordering. I also had a cookie which was DELICIOUS. You will have an option to get it warmed as well. I spent about an hour in the shop and was so relaxed. Great study/work environment. I will definitely be back!

Best Coffee In Houston! Using Locally Roasted Beans (Amaya for now, in a few weeks they’ll start using Cleo which are going to be roasted next door- can’t get any fresher than that). The Baristas strive to perfection in every shot/pour any less than that is not accepted, they are very knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. Great ambiance. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!

Great find in rice village. Right off his so er and Kirby, this location is convenient to a lot and even has descent parking. The atmosphere is inviting. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted with smiles by a very happy staff. We kept it simple with cappuccinos for each of us and a chocolate croissant and an apple gruyere scone. The pastries were delicious and warmed for us. The cappuccinos were not only East but beautiful in an 8oz cup—the largest a cap should be imo.

Overall, we really liked this place. I know there are others, but we haven’t been to them. We were staying at a nearby hotel. If it weren’t for Google, I would have assumed this was a well done one off shop. I loved the vibe and comfy chairs. And the sign on the wall that, judging by pics, changes from time to time.

Definitely recommend this place for those who appreciate coffee with a more authentic feel.

Cavo's been my go to coffee spot for awhile now and it's never disappointed. Fills up fast so if you wanna work try nonpeak times.

Cavo has two locations, Greenway/Richmond and Bissonnet. I prefer the later due to the friendliness and service, and the more relaxed atmosphere. But both are great when it comes coffee and food, the food menue differs between the two.

Cavo has their own roasting company (Cleo Roasting), which is located next door to the Bissonnet location. Prior to using their own beans they used other local roasters. My last visit I could tell that they are getting a better hang of roasting their beans. The taste was very nice. When I visited in 1 January, shortly after they had opened their roasting company, I found the roast used for the espresso drink a bit sour. But the last three visits were more rewarding.

Me and my friends came here on Saturday noon but it wasn’t crowded. Since I didn’t have breakfast, I ordered cinnamon sugar toast and a latte. The toast tasted delicious and the latte was good. The staffs are friendly and very nice. I will definitely come back!

Cafe for the young laptop crowd, likely Rice students. Very tasty matcha 🍵 latte. The space is modern and inviting and the vibe is definitely on the cool 😎 side! I like it! … the wifi however was not cooperating!
