Lakeside RV Park

This rv park is by far one of safest, most quiet, homes away from home, I've ever been to. The management here is so compassionate its hard to believe we haven't been neighbors for years. If i am ever in that area again, hands down, this is where I will insist on staying!!!

It is so beautiful here! Nice and quiet and peaceful. Not too far away from stores/restaurants, but there's also really nice trails to explore. Clean laundry and bathhouse and park for the dogs. Everyone is super nice too and very helpful. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Barry, the park owner, is simply the best. He and his wife created the park with their own image and care hands. They do an excellent job of maintaining the property, always busy working hard every single day. There is a dog park, a pond and even some fun animals to see/pet/feed: donkeys and goats! It's about 45 minutes from Waco and about 15 minutes from Mexia. We stayed here for a little over six months and it was our very first campsite experience. The price was perfect for the monthly rate, sewer, water and electric were all included. And talk about the place to be for incredible sunsets!! You can also have mail delivered to you at the park office. We would 10/10 recommend!!

I stayed here for the last 2 months for work and my stay was very pleasant. This rv park is very clean and quiet. Lots of grass a good size pond with seating areas and fishing. Christy was very nice and easy to work with. They also had great prices. I would stay there again. Thank you Cristy!

After making my initial phone call regarding a reservation, I immediately received a text with a park map and our site number. We had an easy registration process and a great view of the lake. Christy was in touch to make sure we had arrived and available if we need anything.

The owner Christy was very helpful and responded fairly quickly. Nice well maintained lots with a quiet area.

We love being here. The owners are extremely friendly. There is a playground for kids and a lake and some trails for exploring. It is quiet and has lovely views.

Stayed over a month, good location with lots of space to walk our dog. Laundry facilities were well kept and clean. Overall good experience great customer service, would stay here again if in the area.

Clean, Friendly and has much for kids around the campground. Beautiful Views, nice size yards between spots. Easy to pull your camper through, has laundry and etc.

I Was at lakeside for about a month. I enjoyed it, price was great and close to my job site. Christy was great always noticed me if anything was taking place. Would definitely stay again!!!

Well kept park with lots of space between sites. Great place to stay if you are in the area.

Our stay here was extremely nice. We were there for just one night, but our stay was fantastic. The bathroom and showers were very clean and air conditioned. The park itself was very clean and I felt safe. There is a beautiful lake on the premises. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake that night. There are very cute and friendly animals( 2 goats and some donkeys) that you can see grazing around the lake. They are kept separate from the sites, but you are more than welcome to walk over to them and say hi. There is a small playground for kids and a small dog park down by the lake. The owner was very accommodating. He made sure that we felt comfortable and told us to give him a call at any time if there is any issues. Southern hospitality at its finest!

Stayed a couple days at this RV Park. I called to get a spot a couple days before and she got us in. Looking around I think we may have taken the last spot. Thank you. No complaints on this cute park. No it isn’t all frills Bells and Whistles but it did the job. Full hookups. Gravel sites they have laundry but we didn’t use it. We were site #2. Pretty level I think we used 1 set of legos. They have a lake and some farm animals, donkeys but I don’t remember even hearing them at any time. Owner is super sweet. The park is definitely nice and we would stay again. Hubby was working in Mexia so it was very convenient. WiFi seemed to be good and channels for tv were plenty. We have Verizon and that seemed to be good as well.

Nice quiet place in a sleepy little town, owner & staff were very welcoming and nice people. Laundry & shower facility was clean and the grounds are well kept. Stayed for several weeks and had no issues

Love this rv park. Very kid friendly, very pet friendly. Mr. Barry is awesome, he’s such a joy to be around. He runs the park amazingly, always going out of his way to make the park better. The lake is beautiful, playground for the kids is fun. The donkeys and chickens are awesome to go visit. I love all the trails. Has laundry room and great WiFi. Anything that you would want in an rv park this one has it, plus more.

What a nice place to park! Owner lives on site and couldn't be more friendly and welcoming, the prefect host! Seven donkeys to feed, playground is very nice, and caught a nice bass in the lake. I would definitely park here again!

Highly recommend this rv park! Me and my boyfriend travel and we stopped there for a month and we loved it!! Nice big yard, wifi, washer and dryer‘s,showers, trails, and a lake all right there!! And cheap so all you have there!

Nice little rv park. Owner extremely friendly. Beautiful bath/shower. Big fishing lake. Quiet and well kept park. I would stay there again if in the area.
