Ms. Breland not only is an attorney but also she has been in the practicing side of real estate. She is very knowledgeable and competent in what she does. I had an opportunity to meet her when she visited our Brokerage@ Keller Williams Signature and listen to what she had to say. Ms Breland was professional and extremely thorough in her role as an ad litem attorney for my brother in law.

In summary, she was completely incompetent. Fatima was appointed by the court as an ad litem attorney for probate and cost the estate thousands of dollars by delaying the process without grounds. She was extremely difficult to communicate with and delayed returning any contact. Fatima invented dozens of scenarios about the deceased having potential secret mistresses and unknown hidden children, without presenting any evidence, essentially presuming the guilt of the deceased and illogically asking the applicant to prove the non-existence of events. Her behavior was highly suspicious, potentially she was delaying simply to charge the estate a higher fee for her services, giving no consideration to actual, living, heirs. All of her duties were performed without any consultation with the court, contrary to the suggested practices of her profession. Eventually, she was dismissed by the judge without pay after 6 months of delaying the court process. (her replacement finished in 2 weeks) Thankfully, we did not have to pay her any fee. However, we still lost thousands in payments to estate expenses and spent countless hours (i.e. more money) trying to come up with evidence contrary to her nonsensical assumptions

These lawyers are as corrupt as they come .. She is a member of a cartel in Houston that forces you into a trumped up guardianship charging you thousands of dollars to screw your family and stick you into a nursing home.
