These Doctors Cornell and Pickering are both special doctors and make the VA really look Bad. I had a rash from my 20years in US Army. Never fixed my feet Fungus. Say them on same day. NEXT day it was all gone. Application of the medical knowledge and they are both smart and most Caring doctors I have met in my 75 years from birth! Thank both of them!

Dr Pickering is absolutely wonderful. We have never had to wait very long. He took his time to visit with us and made my daughter feel valued and seen. We have also seen the nurse practitioners on various occasions. They have been understanding and patient.

Dr. Pickering has been my PCP for over 10 years now and I really have to Thank him. He is such a “Rare Breed.”
Unfortunately, I have had a lot of serious health issues over the past 10 yrs. requiring me to see many different Specialist at many different facilities. I am very grateful to say that I have had access to some of the finest Doctors in the world at MD Anderson, Houston Methodist and others. Some of them have literally saved my life. However, none of them are like Dr. Pickering. He is that Rare Country Dr. that is “old school.” He is smart, very knowledgeable and is always learning New Medical Advancements. More important, he is sincerely kind and compassionate. He very patiently listens then answers my “stupid questions.” Most importantly, above all, it’s easy to see he has my well being and best interest at heart. For that I am eternally grateful.

I love that I have found such a great Dr. here in Whitney Texas. From the moment I walked in to Dr. Office until I left I felt welcomed. I ❤ love bring able to do walkins if I need in Sooner than the appointment I booked because it came to that and I was taken care of. I love the fact when I get prescribed medication I can go right next door and and pick it up at pharmacy 1. Mainly I loved the time the detailed information and the courtesy of allowing me to get to know him and explain my situation. He was such a delight to to talk to and the extra ray light of encoutmragment and positive personality really was a refresher after the last 6 months of sciatica pain. And much need. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful with my insurance issues and getting me in as a new patient.

I saw Jamie Lee, the nurse practitioner, and she was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, caring and a wonderful listener!

I will continue to get my healthcare needs tended to at this clinic.

Dr. Clay Pickering was my doctor when I first realized I had diabetes over 12 years ago. Today I realized after researching m Only drug metformin, that for my type 2, it is safe, effective and I have been Only on this medication for 12 years. Dr. Pickering my A1c last week 6.3. I have never been to a doctor that was so attentive and helpful. He really listened to my concerns. The nurses and front desk help were extremely pleasant to talk to. They always answered the phones and answered my questions quickly. I will never go to another doctor. He is the best!

Dr. Pickering is our family physician. Three generations of us know that we will be treated with respect, have all of our concerns addressed and proper actions taken. He is truly a “family “ doctor. 🌸

Well it's been a while, but he's a great listener and a great healer if you're willing to do your part.

I have been to many doc. And never have felt comfortable enough to talk to a doctor, and dr. Pickering's bed side manor is so relaxed. And I highly recommend this office.

These are the best doctors I have seen in a very long time.

Dr Pickering and the NP Jamie are very helpful and care.
The only reasons for not giving 5 stars are call backs/communication after visit and waiting room time.

My wife has been seeing Dr. for about 10+ years. Since he became affliated with Goodall-Witcher she has been unable to get appointments to see him in less that 3 weeks. Just glad she wasn't dying. However, she now needs to see him immediately and she still can't get in for 3 weeks. She really likes him but she is being forced to find another doctor that she can see when she needs too. Really sorry for this.

Dr Pickering is the best. He really cares. I give him 5 stars. But the waiting time gets 2 stars. The only down fall is the waiting time in the waiting room. Be prepared to wait at least a hour past your appointment time.

I went to this office a couple days ago. The receptionist (an older woman) was rude. I tired to check in with my daughter twice and she told me she was busy twice. All the time she was calling other people to the office area. She made me feel unwelcome.

I went here today to visit the PA about my blood pressure. My appointment was at 11 and I was put in a patient room from 11-12:15. For over an hour no one came to speak to me. I was about to walk out but finally the PA came in wondering why I was there since I live 2 hours away (for college). I explained that my father goes here and he highly recommended them. It felt like the PA did not want to speak or interact with me.

The PA wanted to order an EKG & blood work but I could not do either because I had to be back for school that evening and I did not have time to wait another hour for it to be done. I did not expect to wait for over an hour to see a PA. I will be going someplace else.
