First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church Henderson is truly a mission minded church. The pastor, David Higgs, has a heart for the lost and those who have needs in their life. You won't find too many churches that are as friendly as the our church is. They have a new children building that is e stories. A great family life building for the youth. Just had a discipleship now for youth recently. They filled the center section of our church. We have groups drilling water wells in Guatemala, doubling the size of a small church in New Orleans, visiting the nearby prisons, and meeting the needs of the city.

We love this church and call it home now. The Pastor and staff are the most caring people. I love the messages our pastor brings to us each week. If you are looking for a friendly church where you will feel welcomed and hear a great message from the word of God then you will want to visit here.

I sit outside on my back patio, 5 miles away.
I so enjoy the organist and all the music they play in evenings, even Thursday.

There is a ministry for everyone! I love the VBS that they have in the summer. There are fun classes for all age groups, even the adults. They have a nice indoor community center with a exercise gym, full basketball court, a lot of fun things for the kids. Church services are very enlightening and they have evening services too so people can come in the morni,g or evening. They have a wonderful outreach ministry as well. There really is something for everyone and the church is a beacon for the city.

Friendly and caring church family. Pastor is spirit led and loves to lead his flock. Great worship and praise time. Awesome family of God.

This is a warm, loving and caring church that has provided us with a great place to serve. It has been wonderful communty in which we raised our family. I give it my highest recommendation.

Dr. Higgs is a great pastor teacher.

I like having lunch there. The food is always delicious.

I don't go to church here but I eat their lunch they serve and for the price u pay its a great deal and the food is usually very good thank u

A Christ and Bible teaching church. A loving congregation. Wonderful place to worship and reach the lost.

They do wonderfull stuff for the community seasonal events and Christian outreach events have been to a service there
