Red Wing - Odessa, TX

After a 3D scan of my feet, boot recommendations were provided along with inserts. This was my first scan with Red Wing, and I am pleased with the results and personnel customer service. I was able to turn in my previous pair for a re-sole as well.

The guy that helped me was very professional and took his time to ensure I left with 100% satisfaction and the boot that fir me like a glove. Very nice job. My hats off to him

Corey and Norma were the best! Very accommodating and knowledgeable. My first experience with Red Wing was the one in Lubbock and they suck. The customer service was terrible and they didn't have the style or size of anything I wanted.

I have always liked wearing red wing shoes because of how comfortable my feet feel with them and for how long the shoe last in my line of work, every store I have been in I have been helped with a smile and I have been informed on the type of shoe I am buying and I've been fitted for special insoles do to the arches in my feet. I've also been helped on what kind of lether proof protectors are best for the shoes I've purchased. I've been very happy with my experiences at any Red Wing store I've been to.

Steel Toe Work Boots , I have had other brands but they don’t hold up , The soles tend to wear uneven .. Might cost more but you will have a longer comfort wear ..

Went by today and brought my boots with some premature wear on both toes of the boots, explained what was wrong and how I would like a new pair and Cory had me in and out the door within 5 minutes. Cory was awesome he helped me get what I needed and fast, he even gave me a different style boot so I could try them out after I was unhappy with the others. Will definitely be coming back after that experience!

Was great. The one person that help me was nice and very helpful. She took her time and did what she had to do to find me the right size and the perfect boot for me. I forgot her name but she had blonde hair and want to say "thank you". The pace was clean and very organize to see everything.

I stopped in and used their fancy foot measuring computer. Turns out my foot size has change over the years. These boots feel like I'm walking in air.

I had a pleasant experience in my purchase all thanks to the associate that was professional and courteous with that alone I will definitely go back thank you Ms Norma.

They took the time to call the store in Cheyenne Wyoming to check on the warranty on my boots, turns out that they were covered and I walked out with a brand new pair unexpectedly. I thought I was going to have to pay for my old ones to be resoled. Much better service and much better store than Wyoming, where they acted like warranty work was coming out of their pockets.

I have been buying my work boots here for about 13 years. They keep my info on file and have my size and preferences on file. If they don't have what I need in stock they go look for it and order it.

Professional, helpful, knowledgeable. Even if the store is super busy they take their time to really help each person as soon as they can.

I came in the store after requesting to try on something from their online catalog and after they called and told me it was in. When I arrived they had around 30 people in the store from an oilfield company class that was getting boots provided by the oil company they were just trained for. They were really busy and it was close to closing time. At first they thought I was in the class. But still was thoughtful enough to make sure and ask if I was with the group. When I said no, but that I was here to look at and try on the order they called me about. The manager immediately told one of her workers that I was to be next after she finished with who she was helping. And to make sure she helped me first before helping any other of the class members. I guess they recognized that I was a long term return customer. I felt like I was getting royal treatment by being moved to the head of the heard that was in the store.

Even though I was only trying on one pair of $175 boots and the oil company was getting way over 50 or 60 pairs of $290 + boots. I felt like I was just as important as the big spender.

They don't let a single customer feel like their less important than any other.

The staff member worked with me, answered all my questions and never got distracted even with all the commotion going on throughout the store.

At the same time the other customers were being helped and were being treated as well as I was.

The store staff worked like a well oiled machine even though they were being flooded with customers at the end of the day.

And yes I bought the new work boots. They fit perfectly are comfortable and will allow me to continue to get on with my work.

I have heard complaints that their boots are expensive. Yes and no. They do initially cost more but if you go to a big box store and buy cheaper WORK boots you get what you pay for. I used to waste money doing that. These boot last me several years compared to 9 months of cheaper boots.

For me 2 factors justifies the price.

First the math. Their average Redwing $200 boot last me around 3 years. The average $90 boxstore boot last me 9 months. If have to replace them around 4 times in 3 years. That's $360 for 3 years. Compared to $200. So for me they actually are cheaper than buying the cheaper boots.

Next is the comfort and fit. Box store boot are a luck of the draw. You get to pick from what's in the store and thats it. I never seem to find what really fits or is comfortable. The redwings are designed to be made comfortable. Everyone knows shoes have to be broken in. Including redwings. But from day one they are already comfortable to wear because of the way their insoles are made. And can the sole inserts can be changed in the store if needed. And they get more comfortable with the break in the longer they are worn.

To me that worth the extra cost.

I came here to get another pair of boots because the ones i bought two weeks ago didn’t fit me quite right and gave me blisters really bad :( . I thought i wouldn’t get a refund for them so i didn’t say anything when i walked in the store. I started looking mind you i walked in the door at 6:00. I didn’t feel rushed but i did feel bad because i was the last client there. I tried on shoes and didn’t seem to be happy with any of the ones i tried on and was so confused about my size i didn’t want the same issue to happen again. Mark was the last person in the store and he helped me so much! He measure my feet with the computer they have it was amazing! So i further to tell him the issue, he refunded me my money for the old pair and i wasn’t expecting that what so ever! He really cared for me to leave with boots that actually fit me well. I left happy and most off all with boots that fit :) if i ever have an issue i will be back.
