I always love stopping at Gill Garden Center when I'm in Corpus. Love seeing the improvements!

This is our second year getting our Christmas Tree from Gills and we couldn’t be happier! They take very good care of their inventory and last year our tree lasted long past Christmas and I don’t doubt this year it will too. Wyatt and another gentleman helped us find the perfect tree for our family this year. We truly appreciated it!

I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE for gerber daisies because it’s one of the few pretty air cleaning plants that isn’t toxic to dogs. I was in the area after work and decided last minute to check this place out since they were still open. They had fresh blooming Gerber daisies front and center as soon as I walked in! Then when I went to the outside, I couldn’t believe how beautiful and neatly organized it was. All the plants I looked at were fresh and healthy.

Excellent. Ernest designed a perfect landscape for my completely barren small backyard. I had requested specifically:
- Pretty, as viewed from all angles and from every window in my house.
- Interesting to a dog, like some room to run, secret passageways behind trees, against fence, etc. The yard is so tiny but would be the only real surroundings a dog would have.
- Sustainable, or will bounce back after freeze.
- Tropical, if at all possible, with plants like philodendron and banana trees.
- Plants that work in the very sunny and very shady parts.
- Blossom colors red, white, yellow and orange only, with lots of greenery of course.
- AND will attract birds, butterflies and bees.
He drew up a PERFECT plan. Huge variety of plants. It was just installed, so the plants are young, but the whole appearance should be lush and colorful in a year. Just love it. Could never have done any of this on my own. The price was surprisingly reasonable. I highly recommend these services.

Great customer care, exceptional service. We had our landscape design done by Harry Villarreal. He listened to our ideas and came up with a beautiful design that was everything we wanted: Texas natives, drought and heat tolerant and pollinator friendly. We're delighted with the results. The installers Josh, Israel and Kevin did a fantastic job! Our transformation was done in two days and when they were done, you would never have known they were here. They hauled off all the old plants and every bit of trash, including the markers for the cable and electric. Thank you Gill Garden! We will enjoy this for years to come.

Ernest at Gills Garden Center sent Jimmy and his assistants to our home to make some warranty repairs to the pavers that were installed in 2017. They did a great job and we very much appreciated their efforts. Gill's stands behind their installations and we won't hesitate to hire them for future projects.

I was at Gill Garden Center this morning. Was assisted by a new employee who was so helpful and friendly and excited about his job. And, all of the plants looked beautiful and did not care that the weather is still sweltering!

This post is way overdue. I had my yard landscaped by Gill's 2 years ago. Phillip Elbert did an outstanding job on the design as you can see from the before and after pictures. Additionally, all of this was done about 5 months before the Hurricane. Pretty much everything survived intact, but I had a Texas Sabal Palm that got damaged in the storm. I was hoping it would recover, but I finally called Phillip yesterday. He came over today and looked at it and gave me some advice on what to do. He didn't charge me for the trip out. That is the kind of customer service that makes the difference. I constantly get compliments on my yard. I would highly recommend him and Gill's to anyone looking for landscaping in Corpus Christi.

Big diversity in plants and the staff’s so friendly. They offered to wrap a plant which was a gift. They put a cute bow around the pot. How thoughtful. They have great customer service here!

The selection of healthy plants of all kinds is a pleasure to explore, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Frances helped us this morning and she was amazing. Not only did she graph out our yard, she pulled plants and mocked up how they should be planted in our yard. What a fantastic experience with a great employee.

We wanted a complete renovation of our landscaping when we bought our home. Phillip Elbert designed the perfect combination of flowering shrubs for our yard. Hummingbirds, butterflies and bees work the bottlebrush, vitex tress, lantana, plumbago, salvia, trumpet vine, gardenias, firecracker plants, Mexican Honeysuckle, etc. And the pink roses, drift roses, cenizo, ixora, Hawthorne, Indian carnations, croton, bird of paradise and lilies are gorgeous. The backyard fountain and the landscape lighting on the oak trees and house are two more features that we enjoy every morning and evening. Phillip's design was just right for us and Gill Nursery did a superb job with removal, preparation and planting. We appreciate the expert advice we receive when we return to the nursery for products and assistance with upkeep. Thanks guys!!

I love it when a place talks me out of spending money!

I had an idea for building a trellis and incorporating it into the existing plants in my back yard to increase privacy. I walked in, had three people helping me, asking questions and giving advice. My idea was bad, they gave a couple of reasons why, how I could use my existing plants to obtain the same goal! I didn't spend a $$$.

There's a reason why all my friends told me to go to Gill, they were awesome. I was ready to drop a couple of hundred dollars, a day of work...I can use that to build, fly, crash more r/c airplanes. Thank you!!!

A couple of weeks ago we ordered ten Jingle Bells poinsettias for our club's Christmas luncheon. Since these hybrid plants are in relatively short supply we ordered well in advance and picked them up today. To say the least we were blown away the excellent condition of the plants and how well they had been prepared for transport. Furthermore, they had been "banded" to prevent them from "drooping" or breaking stems. The members of our group thought that the plants definitely added a positive element to our luncheon

I have never had a bad experience at Gill’s Garden center and I have been shopping there for over 12 plus years.

There have been times when I have had to wait to be helped as all the associates were busy helping other customers, which Is totally understandable and there have been too many times to count in which an associate spent valuable time with me and taught me something new about gardening or showed me a better plant option for my yard.

Gill’s Garden Center may be more expensive than the big box stores but you get excellent customer service and excellent gardening advice and that to me is priceless. IMHO.

They alway have the plants I want and the best information about them. Also if they don't have what you need just ask them and they will tell you when it will be stocked

Tested and true experienced professionals with sound advice. Not just looking to make recommendations to cost you unnecessary expenses. James did a great job on our yard consult. Sure appreciate his advise, experience, and advice. Other employees were very helpful while we were looking at the nursery and offered options for our project. We look forward to working with Gills in the future. Would highly recommend their services and staff.
