Great place — the rooms are spacious and attractively decorated. The king-size beds are firm and comfortable. It's clean, safe, and quiet — and definitely affordable for short- and long-term stays. Rooms have small alcoves with desks that are perfect for setting up laptops or "light" food preparation, and the standard dorm-style refrigerators and microwaves are more than adequate. The manager and his wife are always friendly and willing to help with any needs you might have.

The motel itself is one block from downtown Hawkins, Texas — which is the epitome of "small town USA" and could easily have been the subject of Mellencamp's "Small Town". There's a playground across the street, and the community center Pavilion is also there.

The larger towns of Lindale and Mineola are short drives away, and the cities of Tyler and Longview also easily reached as well.

If you need a place to stay not bad they need to make it 2 storys high instead of one floor wouldnt hurt add on to the place it's been here for years but they need some renovations not sure on wifi it needs to be changed some
