Disregard the poor reviews. I was in a panic looking to replace a piece of glass my grandson had broke. I went here hoping they could help. They went above and beyond! Patty and Trent helped me to not only get my glass cut I had extra but to do the most cost efficient route for me. They are very good at what they do and friendly as well. I am writing this review because I am one of those people that go by reviews and let that help determine my decision, I’m so thankful I didn’t listen this time. I highly recommend this company.

Customer satisfaction. Tinted my son-in-law's truck windows on Christmas Day. Did a great job. Trent is a great guy.

Its really sad that people wont honor their work anymore. This is one of those companies. I have tried to be patient with them for almost 2 months now but they are never going to finish the job they have already been paid for. Office staff is nice but the owner wont even return a call or comment. He just HIDES from his responsibilities.

I had used Van Zandt Glass at my businesses in the past so i assumed they would be a safe bet for the showers on my house we were building.
They came out and measure and then ordered the glass.

On their first trip out to install everything, the tech melted down a number of times because he had said they had never installed this model rail system and he was upset about the heat (no ac yet) and they didnt have any of the water seal strips for door with them. There was some issues with how the rail and glass were installed so they claimed they would fix when they came back.

It was a couple of weeks after that before they came back out. Their design for the glass for my shower placed a sliding door opposite a shower head (there are 2) which is a problem since water will go under it when on. They fixed the previous issues and put a water seal strip on the side of the door , said they would look into strip for bottom of door (see #1 in picture) and then called it a day and left.

the problems that are left.
#1. The strip they put on side of door (see #1 on pic) was so thick and tight that when you slide open door it actually pushes the door out so that it can flip the other way. Within 2 weeks the strip failed and has started tearing from the top. The strip has now teared halfway down the door.
#2. Tech said they would put a some type of strip at the bottom of the door to keep water from shooting out under the door everytime the head was turned on (see #2 in picture). They never did put the strip on so now the shower head cant be used unless i put a towel on floor to soak up the water that goes under the door.. They should have put the door to the right and this would have not been an issue. that shower head is on the other wall.
3. The did not silicone the side walls of the shower. When you take the shower head with hose down to spray down the walls and glass after showering you have water go out the edges.

Van Zandt Glass has been paid in full. Their office staff is nice and she keeps telling me she has passed the information to the owner (think his name is Trent?). She apologizes and seems sincere. This all seems like a simple fix for them and the material would only cost $50 dollars or so i assume. The fact that he wont finish the job with so little to be done speaks volumes about the Character of this man and his company. My only option now is to see if i can find someone else to finish it or find the materials myself and finish it, write this review and send the same to the BBB and file a claim with the JP for the cost i am out. Just sad.

Read all the way through for full review: Poor signage to find as you are driving down the road, they are inside another business that has the big sign and their sign is extremely little, in the window of the building (virtually impossible to see driving down the road).
They did have a van outside with their name on it, but that could have just been because they were their at the other business. If you are coming east on Hwy 64 good luck seeing their sign, it's actually on the south side of Hwy 64 (opposite side of the road that they are on and it's only visible if you are driving west bound). The person who answered the phone when I called to find out where they were took extreme offense when I asked where they were, she tells me and my reply was "It sure would be nice to have a sign" ... she said we do. when I asked where she showed me the little sign in the window. We ordered a special size glass, when i picked it up, it wasn't wrapped just the piece of glass, no protection for it and I wasn't helped out with it at all. I had to hold it in my foot to open my back door to get it put in. Horrible customer service. I would definitely find another place to order glass in the future. I would not recommend them.

I am leaving my original post so that you can see what transpired and how the owner of the company handled things. Not true to his word. As you will see below, he said he would refund, THAT NEVER happened. So he said he would but as of today, we have NOT received... He had also contacted my husband and asked him to have me amend my review ... Now I have, but I'm sure not the way he wanted... After posting my review, my husband received a call from Trent, the owner of Van Zandt Glass Company regarding my experience. Trent apologized and my husband told him, he didn't need to apologize to him, he needed to apologize to me. So my husband gave him my number and Trent immediately called and left me a message apologizing for the experience I had and told me that it was completely unacceptable what happened. I called him back and he told me that he already had spoken with his staff and dealt with this and told me if I ever need anything to call him direct. He had told my husband and myself that he was going to refund our money, we told him that was not necessary, we received the item we ordered, we just were not pleased with the service. He told me that he had already refunded the money (THIS WAS A LIE, as we have never received it), as he doesn't feel it would be right for him to keep it. He was very apologetic that I could have cut myself while putting this piece of glass in my car without it being wrapped. I was originally impressed with his professionalism as a businessman, however, not being true to your word is NOT the way to represent your business.

I like his wife's Barbershop but sometimes his workers can come off pretty rude along with himself.

Poor customer service. Placed call after call and never got a call back. had an appointment set and it wasn't kept. If I had not already given a deposit, I would go somewhere else.
