The Kickin Mule

I went on a Saturday at 6pm for dinner. I had the chicken fried steak with garlic mashed potatoes and corn. The hostess was very friendly and I was seated quickly. The waitress was pleasant and attentive but not intrusive; just right. The food was delicious. It was the best chicken fried steak I've had in years. Dinner with a drink was about $25. Well worth the money. I'd highly recommend The Kickin Mule for dinner.

My husband and I stopped in Canton to grab a bite to eat for lunch on our way home from Dallas. I found a place that sounded good. So, we stopped in the Kickin Mule. It was DELICIOUS! The food was wonderful, and the service was even better. Our chicken fried chicken was so tender and juicy!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND STOPPING!!

Food was amazing!!! The bourbon pecan pie was a must!! The strawberry lemon drop is amazing, beer is cold, and the pickle pineapple margarita with in house pickle infused tequila is a unique and fun experience! Emerald was a wonderful bartender/server, very attentive! Loved the 90’s country play list!!

Food was so delicious! We had steak 🥩, country fried chicken 😋 and club sandwich.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time tonight and I'm glad we did! The food was just as incredible as the customer service. Katie was our server and was so nice and super patient with us for our first time. The ambiance was a rustic southern feel and was super calm and not loud. Our server was more than attentive and kept our drinks filled. I ordered a fried chicken breast (can order grilled as well) that came with a honey pecan glaze on top that was killer!!! My wife ordered the chicken fried steak sliders which she enjoyed. We started with their loaded cheese fries which could feed a family. We will return for sure!

Visiting from Arizona. Saw this place driving through and original plan was to grab BBQ but the spot we wanted to check out card reader was down and didn’t serve beer. Decided to check this place out after a long day of fishing and it was perfect. Good food, cold beer. Check it out!

We had the grilled chicken, fried catfish, and sweet potato tots. All were delicious! The grilled chicken was tender, while the pineapple pico on top was refreshing and a bit spicy. The tots and sauce were yummy, and the fried catfish was melt in your mouth!

My new go to when we are in Canton! The interior is just beautiful. Very warm and inviting. The service we received from Emerald was amazing. Very knowledgeable and kept the sweet tea coming. The loaded fries were delightful! Cheesy and delicious bacon. The chicken fried steak is the best I've ever had and I've had a lot! The breading was golden and buttery. We will be back for sure. No need to go anywhere else. The staff was super nice. You could tell they loved their job

First time visit, great food and service, had the kickin cornbread ham and cheese with sweet potato tots, fantastic! Followed with a banana pudding taco, wow 🤯.

This place is awesome all the way from the people, atmosphere and food! Staffing is highly trained by management that truly takes pride in their restaurant and its operations! This is a prime example of people who enjoy their jobs and are passionate about what they do... And they do it SO well... I have eaten here since the beginning and I have to say watching them evolve has been nothing short of amazing! You will not find a better tasting chicken fried steak anywhere and the green beans are very fresh and delicious! 👏

Service was excellent! I have social anxiety, and do not like to eat in crowds. It was first monday, and the waiters were very polite. They let me place my single item order. I got to wait at a table away from the crowds while my food was prepared. Thank you very much! I will be back again at the next flea market. :)

Our food was awesome and our server Bree was delightful.
Atmosphere only got a 4 as the sun reflecting off the courthouse really made it hard to enjoy my guest. Please consider pull down shades or tint for those of us facing the courthouse.

Abigail was fantastic. Not one problem. Food and drinks were great. If you like cheap garbage food, then this place is not for you. My wife always has a very custom order due to diet restrictions and there were no issues because they actually write down your order. We'll be back!

We ate lunch here after finishing our shopping at 1st Monday Canton. When we got our name on the list, we were told the wait would be 30 minutes and it was only 15.
Our waitress Haley was fantastic. You could tell she enjoyed her job. She was smiling all the time and always checking on her customers.
My husband had the chicken fried steak and I had the grilled chicken breast. The sides that you get to choose from are good. Too full for desserts but they looked good on the menu. We will visit again.

Stopped in here late Sunday afternoon. The host was quick to get us in a seat. Waitress was even quicker to get drinks. I ordered the beef pot pie...this was the best pot pie I have had in my life. Half of it had me full, but I couldn't stop eating it. Back to the timeline. The appetizer were deviled eggs and fried zucchini. I was surprised I liked the zucchini but it was great with just enough breading. The deviled eggs were good but not granny level. The burgers were big and everyone agrees we will return. Highly recommend stopping in for pot pie.

The service was wonderful. We were seated very quickly. The food surpassed expectations both taste wise and presentation. Family friendly environment. The rustic/industrial decor was right up my alley.

The prices are very reasonable especially considering the portions you receive.

Our server was also a large reason for the 5 star rating. He was very attentive, and the other servers appeared to take care of their tables just as well.

We live nearly two hours away, but we will be returning in the near future. Hands down the best service we have had in any establishment.

We had the Deviled Eggs for an appetizer, which were not amazing, but still wonderful. 4/5

The Seafood Macaroni was delicious. Highly recommend. 5/5

The Cow Poke burger is next level. Despite cutting the burger in half, it was still a tad cumbersome due to the size. Worth every bite and drip though. Just use your fork to pick up what you missed. 7/5

The Sweet Potato Tots on the side were good enough to be their own meal. 5/5

How fun is this place! Very laid back and great food. Big portions so go hungry! The sweet potato tater tots with maple dipping sauce is like having dessert! The service was fantastic as well.

I heard of them for years but have never been there to try them out. Just so happened that we had to make a trip to the courthouse. So we decided to try them out
This next time I won't wait so long. Food was awesome and plenty of it. Couldn't ask for anything more. The service was great. Very pleasant.

Stopped in on my drive through town to meet with friends for lunch. We had the loaded bacon cheese fries, the farmhouse burgers with sweet potato tots. A few cocktails (pictured is the black magic margarita), my friend absolutely loved their bloody Mary. She said she got full from everything it came with, and we also had 2 strawberry lemon drops (so good, it was my winner). Everything was delicious. Our waitress (can't recall her name) was so nice and helpful. My friends sat the bar waiting on me to get there and when I arrived my friend said "I cannot sit at the bar anymore, it's dangerous, the bartender is so good at her job!" Needless to say, we all liked our enjoy. I'm bummed I live 3.5 hours away or I'd be going back regularly.

Fantastic food with many great options for even the pickiest of eaters. I would highly recommend. Will definitely be back to try more of their offerings.
