The Vault by Nicole Strachan

After coloring my hair for 30+ years I decided to go silver. I needed a change from my long, dark brown hair and my sister suggested The Vault. With out exaggeration, the owner, Nicole, gave me the best haircut of my life. She intuitively knew what I was looking for and simply nailed it! My husband and I own a pastry shop and not a day goes by without a customer commenting on my hair color/cut. I’ve given out Nicole’s name and number of the Vault more times than I can count to women of all ages. In addition, the shop is bright, airy, and beautifully appointed. Everyone there is kind and welcoming. I’m a forever customer!

I’ve been going to Nicole for years. I found her on NC Moms Facebook as a well recommended hair stylist to fix a bad highlight job I got from a different place in town. Nicole knew exactly what to do and made my hair gorgeous and continues to do so.
She has built this new salon of hers based on her skills, knowledge and professionalism. She hired and trained some amazing staff as well. If you are looking for an upgrade on your color or style, you must go see what The Vault can do for you!

Very professional and caring

I was very disappointed with my color. While hopeful at first, my hair has never looked worse and I had to get 3 inches cut off (at a different salon) because my hair was so damaged. Literally, the left side is lighter than the right. After a series of procedures which took 4 hours, my hair was way too blond which then took another chunk of time to correct and tone down. When I returned home and saw the full damage, I reached out to the owner and expressed my concern. I was hoping for some kind of reimbursement (the bill was exorbitant - $500!!) or words of empathy, but neither occurred. Instead, I was made to feel it was totally my fault. I would NOT RECOMMEND this salon. The customer comes last.

After reading the owner’s response, I can only say that there are two sides to every story. However, after visiting Adam Broderick to repair the damage The Vault caused, the colorists there were saddened to see the state of my hair. They have returned my hair to its former glory. Thank you AB!
