Working with these guys was a very pleasant experience. Their knowledge and experience definitely played a role in why our family chose them when purchasing our Class III pets. Exotic owners take education, health and safety seriously and Chris and his team reflected those same values in their business. I highly recommend Panhandle Exotics.

Great selection of exotics for purchase, much better than Petsmart. Staff knows the subject and is cm very friendly. Prices are fair.

Just want to say that I've always come here for reptile supplies and food. Staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable when I ask questions. Animals always look happy and healthy. Came in today to look at the selection of ball pythons after mine unfortunately passed some time ago. The lady there helped me out so much, I could not thank her enough for bearing with me through my inquiries. I ended up taking home a beautiful and healthy baby champagne ball python. Thank you guys for all that you do and I hope y'all are here for the long run! :)

We went and looked around, my girlfriend touched a pig she was very happy (after washing her hands of course), we paid for the zoo part. But someone was doing the kangaroo experience, and 100% my fault I wasn't reading the signs. The kangaroo went up to me and I pet their head, even tho I didn't pay for it. And the handler was super super kind and said I had to pay and I apologized. Great experience

We had an awesome time today at Panhandle Exotics!! The staff did a great job and they were very helpful with our new aquarium additions 💗 The kids loved the prairie dogs and as long as you are following the posted rules and teach your little ones how to safely interact with the exotic animals, you will have a great experience. We will definitely be back!!

It was GREAT nice workers, clean and fresh. I've lived here for 11 years but it was our first time. I'm a single mom doing my best to raise my 2 special needs adult children. My youngest is nonverbal, but he loves all animals. He enjoyed going and let me know when he was done. Very nice in every way

This place is soo awesome! They have skunks, reptiles, rabbits, hedge hogs, Savanah cats, grey baby fox, prairie dogs, mini pigs and like a mini zoo type of thing so that is always fun for me to go see and be able to pet a few of the Animals!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience.
I am looking for a non-traditional pet and I decided to come to this place.
My first time coming to this shop, a gentlemen with long hair was extremely helpful, (he remembered me when I came back the second time).
A month later I came back to learn more and I met a girl named Zoe, this tiny zoologist gave me so much information that I left with so much knowledge.
Highly recommend, very lovely people.

My first time here today and have to say definitely worth a trip. The owner is extremely nice and I had a very sweet encounter with the sloth, not to mention the other exotic animals are so worth the visit for sure. Will go back again !

The animal enclosures are nice and roomy, all the animals were very clean and the guys were very friendly!

received fast service, the place is clean even with all the different animals. very friendly girl at the desk and on the phone. the guy in the back with the reptiles was really helpful. I put in pictures of my Kenyan Sand Boa I get her meals from here. They are the only store I could find that carries what I need. Thank you!

Panhandle Exotics has many unique pets as well as a few common ones.
Their pet products are pretty comparable, if not a bit cheaper than other local pet stores.
A big drawing point is that they let us handle quite a few of their four-legged friends. In addition, they are in the process of adding a "petting zoo" to hopefully be opened soon.

Interesting little shop. A great mix of non-traditional pets, and my daughter LOVED having the opportunity to interact with the sloth. I enthusiastically recommend a visit if you're in the area!
