Henning's Root Beer Stand

We had a great experience! We we're promptly great with smiling faces. I ordered the Reuben and fried cauliflower. It was one of the best Reuben's I've ever had and the fried cauliflower was great.

My husband had the double stack burger which is like a Big Mac, fries and slaw. He also said it was delicious.

We also got the homemade root beer. This was disappointing. It was no longer in a frosty mug and it was a bit flat. However, the food and service was so good we didn't really care.

They deserve all your burger-oriented dollars. Great meal, great price, nice friendly folks. I would have thought/hoped they would be busier, but pandemic.

Passing through town for some fieldwork for business and stopped here for lunch. Everything was great and affordable - root beer float also hit the spot. Friendly and fast service as well.

The meatloaf was the best and the mashed potatoes were REAL! We felt like family and this was our first visit. It won't be our last!

Great place for breakfast. Fast service, fresh eggs, and fantastic French toast. A must stop every time we visit Hoopeston.

The chicken fried steak is amazing! Love the potatoes and gravy! Roll was warm and loved the Cole slaw! Love this place!!!
