The Purple Pit Coffee Lounge

This is a nice place to enjoy a nice breakfast and some coffee. The staff and friendly and hard working to give you quality service and products. They also have a jazz lounge here but I was not able to be there for their music but if it’s like their coffe and breakfast it’s a winner!

Such a gem in the heart of Bristol. Love their coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Pesto bagel is the best!

Nothing better than making this your first stop of the morning. So many good choices in bagels (pesto bagel and blue bagel bring my favorites). Although it is most often busy, it's a wonderful place to sit and sip coffee while being in the center of town.

For 6 years we've been enjoying outstanding coffee and delicious food at the family-owned Purple Pit in Bristol New Hampshire. If you're traveling in the White Mountains and NH Lake Regions, I highly recommend hopping off Route 93 and driving 10 minutes to Beautiful Bristol for a delicious experience at the Purple Pit. Hoooooraaaaaay for Cafe Breve!! 🙌☕🥰💖👏

My favorite breakfast spot in downtown Bristol. It's cute and cozy and the staff is so welcoming. Even when they are extremely busy, the service is fast and consistent. The food is always very good. They have a wonderful coffee selection too.

Driving through from another state on a rainy morning, definitely worth the short detour!! Delightful spot, cosy atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff! And to the lovely young lady who treated me to her favorite iced coffee, thank you! You lifted my spirits just when I needed it. I will be sure to pay it dorward.

Absolutely loved stopping here!! Cute little coffee shop near Newfound Lake. I was able to sit inside for several hours and they had gluten-free + dairy-free options which I really appreciated. Their staff was super friendly and helpful. 10/10 loved my experience and would definitely go back!!

I've stopped in a few times now for a latte. I like the atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and their service has been great. They also have an area where they sell items by local crafters. I haven't really tried the food yet but they seem to have a steady flow of business. If you're looking for a good cup of coffee, and a relaxing place to enjoy it, then give The Purple Pit a try!
The Purple Pit has become my go to place for a local latte, and maybe something from the pastry case.🤷🏼‍♀ Everything is always delicious and served with a smile. I enjoy going there.

Cute little eatery in the downtown but out of the way- menu had many options. Coffee was great, and the ham, egg, and cheese croissant sammies were just what I needed to start my day, Yum!!! . Struck up great convo with chef while waiting for our food. Will be back, its got a great vibe in there!

Awesome neat little cafe! It was a random stop but totally worth the time. Breakfast sandwich was great!

Just found this gem in downtown Bristol. Popped in for a smoothie... GREAT! (Yes, they top it with whipped cream, but I went for the topless style.) My brother and sister-in-law had a sandwich and salad, also fresh and wonderful. My sister visiting from Hawaii went wild for the fresh cannoli, with true custard filling.
PLUS the Purple Pit has a jazz club in the back. We could just tell that it rocks! You can give them your email address to learn who's playing in any given week.

Good coffee, quiet and fast service. Great decor inside, cool instruments and seating. 3/5 WiFi, it's pretty slow even without many patrons here.

Very cute little coffee shop! Has handmade goodies and crystals for sale when you walk in. Coffee is great, food is great, and the staff and friendly! I love stopping in for lunch with friends.

Cozy, cute café located in downtown bristol, with great food, friendly staff and a quiet inviting atmosphere where you can sit and relax in the sunlight coming in the big picture windows or open your laptop and get some work done. Charging stations are available with free wifi and private comfortable sitting nooks. Awesome spot!

Cozy and warm coffeeshop/eatery in the center of downtown Bristol. The coffee here is delicious and their seasonal drinks are very good. Today I had the hot apple cinnamon tea latte with oat milk and a cinnamon stick added and it was seriously as close to autumn in a cup that you can get! They also have a variety of pastries and local art and pottery! There is something here for everyone.
