As tough as it can be some days, the Directors and Volunteers at 1269 Cafe (as well as the many people who donate time, materials and money) just keep showing up, and just keep caring. The BeachBum Philanthropy family is very happy to do what we can, when we can, to help out. Thank you all for being so easy to work with. They could do a lot better letting people know their open hours and schedule instead of randomly closing when they are supposed to be open. It seems they need to close up to suit their own needs and their residents' instead of being available to the homeless on a consistent and predictable basis.
