Food was absolutely amazing!!! This is one of the best kept secrets in the area. Diverse menu with dishes that are a fusion of styles with everything being delicious. If you like fajitas this is your place. Big bonus is the atmosphere with couches and outdoor seating!!

Luc’s Fajita Hut is definitely a great spot, a hidden gem on Greenwood Lake Tpke in Hewitt NJ. Relaxed atmosphere with lakefront dining. Really good fresh food, nice selection of specialty fajitas, guacamole, salads, and other dinner options. Chef L.J. Koch created a great menu with delicious options and attention to freshness. Staff is equally awesome!

This place is an unassuming gem. And it feels intentional. From the outside it looks like a biker bar. And yes, it's a bar, And it even has a motorhead theme. But the classic automobile rear bench seats facing each other and the outboard boat-motor high-tables are super fun. Best of all they have a great chef in the kitchen. Every dish and cocktail I've ordered was creative and delicious.

We took our group of 4 adults and 5 kids here. The staff was astonishingly accommodating and went above and beyond to make us feel more than welcomed. Adorable atmosphere and tasty food. Cocktails knocked it out of the park for these tired parents! Will definitely be back for the glitter waters and everything in between 🩷

Had the Brisket special platter and Korean bbq pork tacos, both dishes were out of this world fantastic. Staff are incredibly welcoming and obviously passionate and enthusiastic about their food, rightfully so. The atmosphere is relaxed and artful. Everything was excellent, would highly recommend a stop.

Terrific and reasonably-priced food - their signature fajitas are delicious, and even though I took the nachos to go they still tasted great the next day. They also make a good margarita! Great atmosphere with a lake view, fun decor, and bunch of random lawn games to occupy kids with. Service is sweet but absent-minded, probably because they don't have enough waitstaff - I wasn't in a particular hurry and didn't mind it, but I heard some other folks grumbling so subtract one star from the rating if that matters to you.

Wow! This past weekend we held our son's wedding in our yard and Luc's catered the event. The food was delicious from start to finish; cocktail hour, dinner buffet, fajita truck, dessert, and late-night sliders!!! Each bite was tasty, truly incredible considering it was a kitchen set up in our front yard. We had rave reviews from all the guests. LJ was calm and more importantly calming. Made it all come together in what seemed effortless but we all know it's not easy to do. I highly recommend and will be hiring Luc's for our future parties.

Incredible 5 star service. The people that run this establishment put their all into the food, and the customer service and it shows.

This place was definitely in the weeds, probably due to short staffing as is the case everywhere, so service wasn't excellent but I really enjoyed the food. I had the pork & pineapple and the portobello veggie fajitas. Wish I had come here when this place was BYOB as they newly sell drinks.

Our new FAVORITE place!!!fantastic selection of uniques flavors of fajitas....super friendly staff.....the coolest atmosphere ever!!!! Can't wait for nice weather to eat on the back deck over looking the lake!!!! YOU MUST TRY THE KOREAN BBQ FAJITA AND THE BEET SALAD!!! They are the bomb!!!

the fajitas are overcooked the chicken the pork was very very dry

chicken fingers came out and they were practically black 😮

they have coloring books and activities to keep young ones entertained.

Excellent fajitas, warm and inviting atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Will definitely be going back to the restaurant, and keeping an eye out for the food truck!

*edit* looks like they're closed as of late February 2024. Handwritten note on the door saying they'll return after New Years 2024, but the place looks gutted and no updates on any social media since last year that I can see.

A shame, they were a good spot, weird to just abandon it and bail like that without warning, especially after revamping the bar section recently.

Waitress so so nice & she let me bring my little dog in. Had the spicey margarita and piña colada … amazing ! Great view great hospitality will be back soon!

Fantastic food i asked if there was any way to do no tortilla and got a lot of options. Food came out hot and extremely tasty each ingredient tasted fresh. I live 30 miles away and will be back. Really enjoyed the staffs cheerful personalities

We really enjoyed our first time here! They had a generous menu, great food, delicious drinks and a really fun atmosphere. We went with our kids who are 8 and 2 and we thought the kid friendly area with games was perfect!! What a great idea to incorporate an area to keep the kids happy while the parents can enjoy their time. It’s a hidden gem that we will definitely recommend! The owner is also so friendly and beyond accommodating. Couldn’t do enough to make sure we enjoyed our time there.

My dad told me about Luc's a few weeks ago and gave me 2 left over fajitas he had gotten there. They were a few days old and the veggies had wilted, but I reheated them and thought they were pretty good. Well, today I went there for lunch (with my dad of course) and oh.my.god! These fajitas are so good! We had the OG Chicken and the Shaved Ribeye Cheesesteak. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and so tender! And the cheesesteak was amazing! Melt in your mouth beef and the perfect amount of cheese. I will definitely be going back!

ETA: I've been back to Luc's several times since this first review and it just keeps getting better. I had the coconut curry pork fajitas and they were fantastic. Also, Chris provided us with excellent service and an all around wonderful experience!

Amazing ! Can’t believe we just found this spot living local … will be there regularly!!

We visited the new half of Luc's tonight- "Luc's Garage Bar". It was the most welcoming venue I have been to in a long time. The decor is entertaining for all ages (small kids with us were fascinated).

The staff were all smiling and attentive,; every customer seemed to be enjoying themselves. Cocktails were great (loved the blackberry mule), and the food was as good as always.

Will certainly be returning to this new branch/extension of Luc's fajita hut.

Please tell me you’re not closing. There’s finally a decent restaurant in West Milford and I will be very upset if you are leaving the area.!!
