Great food and atmosphere. Really enjoyed the wide selection of games. The food was great. The waiter was great and attentive.

Tons of games and the place is packed! Decent selection of finger foods and cocktails. Luckily we were able to play games at the bar despite not reserving a table. We initially attempted to learn a new strategy-type game, but the place was just too loud for it to be enjoyable. We ended up playing a few strategy games we were familiar with and then ended the night with some simple family favorites. Overall, highly recommend - you can't beat $5 for three hours of fun and games!!!

Drinks are amazing, food is yummy and board game selection is insanely impressive. Little understaffed for rarely checked on to order more drinks but who isn't understaffed these days. Definitely a favorite spot for date night or night out with friends

There is an amazing selection of various board games that you can play. The staff was super nice and genuinely friendly gave us excellent table. We were six and we picked up two games.

We had a blast! I ordered a fairy tale tea with Oat milk and lavender syrup and a strawberry cheese cake. There were so many people playing different games. The vine was just right and we had an amazing bonding time over good games and good food and good music.

Do come here! You’re just going to love it for the amazing homey time that this place is going to gift you..

Great game selection, good drinks and a place to relax with friends and not feel rushed out the door to turn a table. The food isn't half bad, from what I've sampled, which is great considering you are gonna spend at least two hours there.

This place is classic date night and family night mixed into one. We reserved based on the reviews for a Sunday night and I recommend doing so.

It’s not super loud, people were respectful and it’s a fun place to go.

Great spot for games! Had a delicious cocktail and the connect four snacks while playing the Dutch version of guess who and then Naked Mole Rats in Space! Definitely check it out, but make a reservation if you want t a table.

We went with a party of four and had a great time. The food and drinks were good with plenty of different beverage options. They have over 2,000 games, ranging from all genres. The staff was friendly and checked in regularly. I’m excited to visit again!

Boards & Brews is my new favorite local hangout. Since I went the first time, I rapidly returned another 3-4 times.

Their drinks are fantastic, the service is great, and it's clear they foster an environment of fun and relaxation. They do have some lunch/dinner items available, but I keep going for the garlic cheese bites (kinda like mini mozzarella sticks cut into pieces) and the connect 4. Vegetarian options are available.

Then...the games. I don't think I've ever seen so many games packed into one place but they have classics you know and love and new games you've never tried but are sure to love. The staff can help you figure out a game to play and how to play it if you have questions. I've found several new favorite games with a night or afternoon there.

I definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to have fun and unwind a bit.

****Update 10 months later****
I've lost count of how many times I've been back at this point. I go with my boyfriend for date night, friends for girls' night, coworkers to unwind, family to connect. In some ways, it's now my home away from home. It's my first pick whenever I'm stressed out, too, and looking to let out a little steam. I've never failed to have fun, always leave happier and more relaxed, and have significantly expanded my board gaming horizons. It's a great place to go for most about any reason.

Me and my friend have been coming here for about 3 years now and we recently came in for both of our birthdays as a party of 7. We had Charlie as our server both times and he was awesome, super friendly, funny, and charismatic. We will definitely be back. They’ve also got a great selection of games, this is prob like my favorite place ever.

Came here with my girlfriend for the first time, and honestly wasn't expecting much. It exceeded all my expectations with it's extensive boardgame library!
It's 5$ bucks per person to sit and play for three hours, so it's a really good bang for your buck!
We had a couple drinks and some garlic curly fries but I'd definitely have to try more food here to give that aspect a better score. But they had some sours and ciders so I was pleased with that! My girlfriend also had some sort of gin mixed drink that she really liked.
Service was good! Definitely feel like this is a place where you should go up in order instead of waiting for staff. They came around a few times but I liked that as to not be interrupted during games.
Overall this is a place I will be going out of my way to go back to. I'll have to come with food in mind as well next time!

Great place! Lots of fun. I highly recommend it for your group or family gatherings. The cocktails and appetizer fare is good and the spirit selection is nice. The servers are attentive and engaging.

Boards and Brews has awesome coffee, food, drinks, games. I'm sooo happy we were able to safely visit and support them. We went in at 5 on a Wednesday and the place was practically empty (apart from one other table) until around 7:30. The staff and everything we ordered we're awesome (shout out to Keating and crew). We were there for four hours playing Azul: Stained Glass of Sintra, 7 Wonders Duel, Clank! In! Space!, and Blokus Duo. There's a huge collection of games that offers something for everyone!

For anyone wondering about COVID-19 procedures: tables were spaced out, reservations suggested, masks required when you weren't at the table, games have none-paper components wiped down and go into quarentine for three days before going back into the shelf.

Just went here and what a fun time this was! Over 2000 board games, coffee, drinks and food! Such a wonderful atmosphere and incredible staff. This is a definite must see when visiting downtown Manchester!!

This place is exactly what we've been looking for. My wife and I stopped in to checkout the library and pick up where we left off in a game we brought with us. They have a fantastic library, great drinks, good food (if small menu), good service. Looking forward to going back for meetup days and diving into the library!

I had a great time playing century spice road, rhino hero, Sagrada and smash up! I met a lot of great people. Several of us are meeting back up here in a few days. The staff is friendly and helpful,if you don't know a specific game, just ask! The game library is spectacular with over 1000 to choose from. Craft beer, tasty food and well made lattes. Thanks for a great time!

Great games, good food, always the best drinks & endless supply of games...we go here for hours on end & always try something new...definitely worth checking out as the staff goes above & beyond to make you feel right at home, highly recommend the chicken & waffles!!!

Fun little place for board games, definitely reserve a table on the weekends, as it can get very busy. Love their small snacks.
