Morningside School

My daughter has absolutely loved attending Morningside School and adores her teachers. The kids participate in so many fun activities, get ample outdoor time, and get to learn in a beautiful environment. There are a lot of Montessori elements, which we love, and small class sizes. The teachers are communicative and friendly. I highly recommend Morningside.

Morningside Preschool has been an incredible school for my child the past 2 1/2 years! They have been so great to work with from the very beginning. Incredible communication and activities. They foster healthy academic and social environments and we have loved being part of this school. I am very grateful to them!

We love Morningside! We moved to Logan just a couple years ago and were very worried about finding a great preschool for our kiddo. He really didn't like his preschool in our previous state and we were concerned that he might have soured on school in general. But he has adored Morningside from day 1. He loves his teachers and he's so excited to learn new things every day. He had so much fun in preschool that we kept him there for Kindergarten. And now he's advancing quickly in reading and math, and he says that teacher Gigi is "the best teacher ever"! We love how happy he is and how much he's learned there, not only academically but about being a good friend and caring for others. We also love the music he's learned there and the little extras they build in--like the Spring Program, where we get to see all the kids perform the songs they learn during the year. We will miss Morningside so much when he goes to first grade next year--and we'll always be grateful for how much they've done for our family. We love you all!

After a lot of research on preschools in the valley, I didn’t find a single negative review. The staff are attentive, caring and fun. Whenever I have reached out with a question, Gigi is very fast and thorough in her response. As a mom who is extremely cautious with who I trust to care for my child, we have loved Morningside!!

We had our twin boys at Morningside School from spring 2023 to spring 2024, starting in their pre-k class and moving to their Kindy class for the ‘23-‘24 school year. We can’t say enough about the positive relationships our kiddos formed with their peers and teachers. Each day was a delight when we picked them up from school - our boys had so much to say about what they learned, how they played, and songs they learned. Morningside strikes a wonderful balance of play-based and structured learning opportunities, providing plenty of opportunities for children to explore new concepts. We appreciated the clarity in communication, especially with email and paper calendars each month that provided talking points for promoting our boys to tell us what they were learning about each week. The class sizes were small enough that our boys were treated as individuals (tricky for identical twins!) while giving them the space to blossom into their own interests and personalities. We love Morningside School! ❤

You won’t find a better school. Morningside is the absolute best. We sent four kids to Morningside over several years, and it was extremely hard to leave Morningside behind when we moved out of town. Morningside (and its teachers) is one of my very favorite things about Cache Valley. If you have the opportunity to send your child there, don’t pass it up. And don’t forget about the kindergarten class either — it’s amazing! Thank you Gigi and staff!

This gem of a find is one of my favorite things about Logan. My son has gone here for the past year and each and every person here cares so much about him. The activities they have planned he raves about. I am forever grateful for morningside and the family they have become!

First let me say that I was a preschool teacher for 5+ years before I was a mom. I know what constitutes a good preschool vs a GREAT preschool and this is a a GREAT on hands down!!. As opposed to simply babysitting your child they are continually seeking out different creative ways to engage and educate the children. I simply LOVE that since day one my daughter has come home singing songs that I know I didn't teach her and art projects that I never would've thought to do.
My daughter use to attend the preschool at USU, it was a really nice place and the teachers were darling... it just wasn't right for her she felt so isolated and would come home crying that she didn't have any friends. Again there was nothing wrong with the USU preschool it was simply not right for her and as time went on nor could my husband and I which are both full time students afford it. Luckily through word of mouth we discovered this wonderful little gem of a preschool, night and day for my daughter!! The classroom size was small and the teachers there invest a personal interest in each child. Morningside Preschool even put on a performance at the end of the year! Also did I mention that the Mother's Day gift/painting rocked!!
My daughter LOVED Morningside so much that we enrolled her as well as her brother in their summer program. Due to her enthusiasm for this exciting preschool we also enrolled her in their kindergarten ! It is so amazing to see what the right kind of environment can do for a child. Sadly next year she will have to leave but until then she is enjoying every second there!!

What a wonderful place. The kids spend a lot of time outside in the big back yard. Even in winter, the teachers try to allow as much recess time as possible outside (unless the air quality is bad). I also love how much time is spent on arts and crafts, as well as music. But nonetheless, my child learned to read, write and do math at Morningside. He actually started reading books at Morningside long before the public school sent books home (He went to public kindergarten in the morning and Morningside in the afternoon). And the teachers are just so nice and sweet. They care about your child and are truly interested in seeing him/her succeed.
In addition, Morningside has been very helpful and flexible with drop off/pick up time due to my work schedule. I am so grateful for that.

They are the worst Preschool that I have ever had to experience. They are extremely rude, and I felt like they were very judgmental and did not care to treat with any respect. I pay good money to them and I just think that they treated me the way that they did because they did not like me and I feel discriminated against. I would NOT recommend this preschool at all. They way they spoke to me really hurt my feelings, and It made me very uncomfortable. And now I do not want to take my son their anymore. And they will charge you if you take your child there a half hour early. Which I didn't even know that I was taking him to early because they never told me. The lady wasn't even nice at all when she told me. I just have felt very uncomfortable and judged every single time I go there.. I will be finding another preschool that actually cares about the parents, and that can speak to me with respect. TERRIBLE PEOPLE THERE.
