Tommys Tavern + Tap

First time in this great restaurant, I can’t wait to come back here in the summer time, they have a nice water view sitting area in the back of the place. Everyone is friendly from the moment you walk in, happy and friendly server, our food was great! The wings are unique, I never had them this way, looks like they were rubbed then baked, delicious bold flavor! My wife ordered the lobster bisque, it was one of the best bisques we had so far! The server recommended the focaccia bread, it was freshly made and served with marinara side and olive oil side, calamari were good, the only complaint was that it need another 30 seconds in the frier, they felt little raw when eating them. We got cali burger which was great, juicy and tasty! I order the chicken sandwich also very tasty and delicious! Bulgogi tacos are amazing!!! We highly recommend this place and I’m pretty sure the other locations are great as this one! Next time we will order pizza!

First time going to this place . Was pleasantly surprised how good the food was! Our server Josh was very friendly and explained the menu when we had questions. Was a little crowded as it was a Friday night and was a little loud due to many patrons in a small space. Prices are reasonable. We will return. Three people with an appetizer, and dinners was only $77.00 before tip.

The bartender made my favorite drink, the Floridian. The potato soup is the best I've ever had and the Philly roll was delicious. I love the atmosphere and the staff is great!

The food is delicious, our server Bri was very friendly and very informative. The atmosphere was very friendly and a lot of TV for sports watching.

This place is lots of fun. Meeting up with friends here during the summer months is a guaranteed good time. Expect to see beautiful sunsets over the Navesink river in the outdoor seating area. Tommy's has a good selection of beer on tap and the service was prompt. It gets crowded in the evening hours during the summer months.

Love this place! I can live on their salmon poke bowl and Caesar salad. The Caesar salad dressing is amazing the cheese they use kicks the dressing to awesome yum yum territory. Their hamburgers are juicy, tasty and brings a smile to your stomach. Do not hesitate to go. Do not question your self. Just drive on over.

The menu is HUGE and I can’t wait to try everything on it. The ambiance is fun! My steak salad was great! My friends blackened shrimp wrap was delicious too! Our server was wonderful! I will be coming back again and again

The atmosphere here is always fun, great music and a great vibe! Our server was terrific, friendly and attentive! As always the food was delicious! We ordered blackened Mahi mahi sandwich and the grilled chicken sandwich both fresh and delicious! We love it here! It's our go to place!

Went here last night with some friends and it was great! To start off, our waitress was very sweet and gave us a full tour of the menu. For apps we got nachos, wings, focaccia bread, and chicken dumplings. I would recommend them all! For entrees we got the pulled pork sandwich, tuna wrap, tuna salad, steak sandwich, and friend chicken sandwich. All of which were great! The chicken sandwich was huge and the pulled pork was especially fantastic! My friends got a marg and pumpkin martini and they said they would recommend both. Overall, a great dining experience!

We went to the Sea Bright location. Staff is amazing and so friendly huge shoutout to both Skylar and Stevie who took care of our table. The GF pizza is amazing and vibe is perfect for a weekend evening 😎

We love going to Tommy’s for sushi and drinks, but recently hosted a party here. WOW! What a great experience… from planning to setup to dinner to cake, they did an outstanding job on all fronts. The party room is gorgeous and staff are second to none. Thank you!

I stopped in for a networking event, I enjoyed a double Malibu bay breeze which was delicious. However, there are some summer special drinks that sound fantastic, so I will try on my next visit. I only ate an appetizer of burrata cheese, heirloom tomatoes, prosciutto and glazed balsamic with fresh basil. I thought it was delicious but would like maybe a nice crust of toast to help soak up the cheese filling that's left on the plate.

Daniella at the host stand is AMAZING!! 😍😁 Crazy busy tonight and she went out of her way to help me out and make sure I was informed and situated. She is a VALUABLE employee!! I hope she's treated and paid as such! Anthony at the bar is great as well. He recommended a delicious josh cab that I'm savoring as we speak. SAVORY apple salad!

This is such a good spot, awesome sports bar vibe and they knock every cuisine they tackle out of the park. The only problem is, I'm so addicted to the Super Salmon poke bowl that I can't try more of their extensive menu. I've had sushi & poke everywhere, and this is my favorite. The apps are also phenomenal. Today I tried the ice cream cookie sandwiches for desert, and now these are the best I've ever tasted! I'm a picky eater too. Can't recommend this place enough!

We really enjoy coming here. Today we brought our friend from Italy The food was great. Stefano made the comment that American portions are so much larger than Italy. Welcome to America is all I can say.

Joe and his staff are always accommodating. If something is not correct, they always fix the issue.

Recently had my engagement party at Tommy’s Tap Sea Bright and let me tell everyone, my guests are still raving about the party!! We had excellent service and food in the private room and also had access to the STUNNING patio over looking the water. Look no where else for all events because they are the best! Andrea and Dana were so helpful in planning going back and forth with emails and details. Dana was AMAZING the day of the party helping us with set up and making sure myself, my fiancé, and guests were all taken care of. So thankful for such an amazing time and party that we will never forget!

Great place with some amazing food. Love the decor. They also have outdoor patio which sits right next to the water. They have huge menu with variety of choices. Summer buckets were the best. Service is great.They also have parking right next to the place (it’s free for customers😀) would definitely recommend the place.

This was our first time here. 4 of us went out to lunch for Mother's day. We ordered French Onion soup, sushi & the firecracker 50/50 for appetizers. For the main dishes we ordered the shrimp scampi Flatbread, Jersey Shore Clam pie, tacos and a burger. Everything was awesome! The portions were more than we expected. Took home enough for another meal. The service was fantastic! They were busy so we figured we would have a delay in getting our food...not at all! It was perfect! We will be back and will recommend this restaurant to all our friends!

We been coming to Tommy’s in Sea Bright for some time now and always loved it. Decided to have a private party upstairs, with new renovations and private event entrance my daughter’s bridal shower was a success. We couldn’t have asked for a better staff team, they were perfect! Robyn, Jhoey, and Sofia worked so hard and created a memorable day for my daughter and all my guests, always with a smile. Also a huge thank you to Dana for putting this together with me, from what to eat & drink to floor plans & decorations. Spicy Margarita was a HUGE hit!! As always food was delicious and the sweet treats was just the right touch. Job well done everyone!! Thank you for a flawless perfect day!

I brought my family to Tommy's and it was every bit as awesome as I hoped it would be.

First, as busy as they were, we were seated right away.
Walking in, you can't help but notice how beautiful the place is. String lights hang from the ceiling, the bar in front is large with huge TVs all around it.
The place was very busy, yet the staff handled it with a well oiled machine-like efficiency.
Our server was awesome (Eric) and the food was top notch.
We ordered the Super Yellowtail Roll and the Jersey Clam Pie.

The sushi was incredible, and super fresh.
We loved every bite - we only wished there was more.
We will definitely try more sushi next time we come here (and we WILL come back).
The Clam pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust was thin, light and crispy, and the spicy Italian sausage had the perfect spicy kick.
The green onions brought out a nice depth of flavor that went well with the ingredients.
The only thing I would change/upgrade about the Clam pizza is - the clams themselves were so small - I wish there were larger pieces of clams as the sausage seemed to take center stage as far as the flavors went.
Not complaining though - the pizza was excellent - I just feel it would have been PERFECT if it had more clam flavor.

Besides the beautiful interior, there's also an amazing outdoor patio on the river, and it's perfect for groups and families with kids.
They have beanbag Cornhole games set up so plenty of kids were having a blast playing while their parents enjoyed a few drinks.
Everyone was having a nice, chill time there and I feel like the patio area must be awesome when the weather is slightly cooler in the early fall (it was 82 degrees when we were there - though it cooled to the mid to high 70s by the time we stepped out onto the patio).

I honestly can't recommend Tommy's Tavern + Tap highly enough. Based on our experience here, I really have to question any reviews lower than 5 stars.
If I could, I'd give them a 10.
This has become one of our favorite places by the shore and I can't wait to go back.
