Bain’s has everything! Salespeople, especially Adam, are super helpful and will find whatever you need. They even carry beautiful gifts, Sea Bright apparel, everything from Yeti to keys to grills and hats.

Bains Hardware is the number one best hardware and general items store in New Jersey. The staff is the most helpful around; nearly if not everything you need you can find on premises; the paint / painting supplies area is also outstanding; there are tons of little gift items as well. Bains Hardware makes things easy and pleasant, every time!

The staff here are very nice. They are always ready to help you with any questions you might have or to help you locate a product that you have come to purchase. Also, they are very knowledgeable and know their inventory very well. A great experience all around.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Whether your toilet is running, you need to strip the finish off a door, or find the exact size screw and buy just one, they have someone in the store who will tell you how and sell you just what you need. I brought in my bicycle once because I had to attach a water bottle carrier and did not know the right size screw. They tried a few sizes, sold me two of the right size, and screwed them in with no charge for labor. Yes, you will pay a little more than at a big box store. But...these guys have to pay for flood insurance and they offer advice and assistance that you can't find at the average big box. They also sell stamps and mail packages (Priority Mail only for packages.) So if you want to mail a bunch of shells to your Aunt Mona who misses the Jersey shore, come here. You can pick up a snack bag of Fritos to cushion them.

Just a great overall Hardware store and Mercantile ....They have everything you can imagine from Benjamin Moore Paints & Accessories, Hardware, Tools, Plumbing, Electrical, Beach Chairs and Accessories, Beach wear, T-Shirts, all sorts of Knick Knacks and Weber Grills.

The service is A#1, the convenience of a local store such as Bain's is great so you don't have to travel to the Big Box stores.

If they don't have it chances are you don't need it!

Always an awesome place to go! It has everything you need from paint to grills. Great sweatshirts and Beach stuff! Everyone is super nice, helpful and knowledgeable. No reason to go anywhere else.

Bought a grill from Bain's, they assembled and delivered to my backyard. A few months later I was having trouble lighting the grill and I called Bain's. Owner himself came to my house on his way home fixed issue - old school. Grill is great Bain's is better. Support the local guys !!!

If you need "IT" its here. I definitely prefer a hometown hardware store over any Big Box. I have come to find that the prices are comparable and the product easy to find. Everyone needs a little hometown hardware store experience in their life!

Old Historical 'General Store' plus retail of old crafts, specialty goods, art, etc. Good prices. It's like walking into history. A horse once rode into the store!!!
