Terra Cotta Coffee House

I love Terra Cotta. It's super cute and quaint. The vanilla chai is wonderful and now they have gluten free biscuits for the breakfast sandwiches. They are expanding their GF options, which makes me happy 😊

This is a little gem of a place in Alfred, NY, hosting customers from the two colleges, both students and staff. It has a great variety of curry dishes available, in addition to its more traditional breakfast menu. There is some seating downstairs and much more upstairs, including outdoors. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. This is a nice, relaxing place to eat in, or take back to the dorm or office.

By far, the best cafe I've ever been to in upstate New York. The atmosphere is worth the visit. Coffee is great.

Amazing service and food. Prices are another story, yet worth the try. The environment is nice to just chill, read, have formal and causal meetings, and lot more. Come and stop by!!!

Walked to the Terracotta around 3 pm. Ordered a Thai Curry with chicken not on the online menu. If you are looking for something other than coffee or the usual gluten-rich food, go there in person. The dish I ordered came from the specials. Absolutely delicious!! Currys are usually either too hot or too salty for me, but this dish has just the right amount of sweetness from small pieces of fruit in the very generous vegetable side, just the right amount of piquancy from the sauce and there was quite a bit of the not at all salty shredded chicken. The whole thing was marvelous!! Will come back any day for this wonderful experience. Pricey, but it was worth every penny and there was enough there for 2 small meals. THANK YOU!!

Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. The coffee (jomakamecrazy) was the BEST I’ve ever had! And the blueberry muffins scrumptious! Lovely atmosphere. Just made my morning delightful!

Nice little place in the middle of Alfred. Walking distance from both colleges. Unfortunately, on the day I went the griddle was broken so choices were limited so I just grabbed a couple of pastries. Very nice and helpful staff.

I usually go to the terra cotta once in a while, whether that will be to grab a bit for myself or with friends, it's a cute and cozy place to relax especially after a long day of school. During the 2021-2022 school semester, I went with a group of friends and order a bahn mi, I never had yet I wanted to try something new. Ps: I loved it, it was delicious and I was glad to try something new.

If you haven't been to the terra cotta coffee house, please go! There are so many delicious options to choose from :)

The Terracotta Coffee House is a must visit location every time I'm in Alfred, NY. The hot and cold beverages are great, they have excellent focaccia sandwiches and delicious desserts. The staff is incredibly friendly and offer great customer service. This is a well managed establishment and it clearly shows.

One of the few places I would actively seek out over going to a Dunkin'. Great coffee selections, personable people, and breakfast sandwiches that will get you hooked. Great options for lunch with foccacias, salads, and wraps.

What a lovely place! Visiting AU for parents weekend and was recommended to try it. Absolutely wonderful staff, great coffee and a nice cosy atmosphere! Loved it!
