Its was beautiful, brought me back to being a child, the shops were filled with the most precious Christmas stuff, and great prices, the food was great especially the donuts, I would not suggest the hot cider it was like drink water no flavor put the hot chocolate was delicious, dress warm its gets very cold,

I just wanted to share, as someone who hates Christmas and loathes this time of year, the frostbite event was one of the absolute coolest things I have ever been too and brought me so much joy I can not express it enough in writing. I have included my pic with me and Santa as that is absolute pure joy on my face.
The whole experience start to finish was fantastic. The creepy music through the car ride, Jack frost greeting us with his elf, then walking through that 3D place to be tortured and chased by dead elfs wanting our teeth!! AMAZING.

Then through the next house...I was in awe. They had a real "elf on a shelf" and was by far my favorite and most impressive site! But everything in there was so cool!! Just the perfect twist on christmas!

I damn near pushed my own kids down in line to get to Santa and Mrs. Claus. These folks were hands down the absolute best! Even the elf with the attitude taking the pics. Santa's Axe was phenomenal. I plan to have my pic blown up and hung on my wall.

We got snacks, which were delightful! The fun sparkly smoking drinks were not only beautiful, but equally delicious! And the hot cider doughnuts!! I could have eaten a dozen.

The illusionist never fails to impress. I've seen him many times and always blown away. I think he is hysterical.

The gift shops were also wonderful. I purchased the set of bloody teeth for my tree and couldn't be happier.

Never disappoints. This is our first time back there since before the pandemic, and we were amazed at how much they have added. The place is beautiful. The decorations are amazing. The characters and the actors are really, really good. You will not be disappointed. One thing I will say, is they do not do the hayride anymore. You have to walk throughout the property which is a little bit different than I was used to, but it was actually more fun. You will get scared!! GET the Scream Pass. Anyone complaining was mad be cause of the line.

Let's start with the positives, this haunt is gigantic in terms of scope. The total actors, area space, décor shops, hayride budget, art direction, set pieces, photo opps, illusionist stage show etc. It's all massive and the total experience is easily 2+ hrs.

The hayride is the highlight of this place. The gigantic set pieces here teleport you into new worlds, it looks very convincing and well designed.

It's similiar to reaper's revenge's quality level, it's extremely dark and you're able to get the true cinematic experience. The art direction in terms of the scenes being played out was A+.

After the hayride, you get a variety of different scares. A haunted house, a trail, corn maze, and even a walkthrough of an entire town.

One of the highlights for me was the graveyard tomb sequence, the church music, special effects, and actors made it perfect.

Another highlight is the motel walkthrough, as you transition into new rooms, it's feels like a nice horror movie adventure.

There's many more positives but you get the idea.

As for negatives, there's only one.

I feel many scenes here are not exactly designed to accommodate merged groups. After the hayride, all groups walked through the town as one (12-15+ people).

For atleast 1-2 of the other attractions, we had a group of 5-6 that kept sticking like glue to our group of 4 and the group in front of us was not far ahead either.

The actors aren't even done performing the previous scene and the next group of 10 is there, it just creates an unideal experience.

I also understand that the haunt can't control the people who go slow/fast, but the spacing can be improved by just waiting an extra 15-20 seconds.

Lastly, this place is very crowded, so know what to expect when you go in terms of waiting times etc.

Overall, I'm very happy with the experience and will return in the future.

This place was SO much fun my throat still hurts from screaming! We bought the scream passes and bypassed all of the regular lines, which was SO worth it and I highly recommend paying the $30 extra!!! The props are absolutely amazing. You can tell that a lot of care, money and creativity goes into the displays! Definitely worth a 3.5 hours drive for us!!!

Been there three times now. Pre Covid (10/10), during Covid (7.5/10) and now post Covid (8.5/10).

The lot is massive and the cost of ticket (used to be like $55-$60 now $80) worth it. Lots of details. Lots of houses. The actors have great makeup, and do their best to sneak up after you. The grounds are well kept. There are less actors now unfortunately, so less life like compared to pre covid, and the no refund policy sucks especially since people do travel far and wide to come here. I booked the same week we were planning on going. Personally I don’t think the scream pass is worth it, only place it helps is the hayride. The lines into the rooms move fast.

TIPS:

Go in large groups so they stagger your experience. Try to walk through the rooms, you’ll miss all the details if you run. They have amazing lights, mists, and themes.
It’s always cold, so bring layers you can take off.

Lots of fun and plenty of cool things to see. The detail that went into making the haunted places authentic was very good!

The best haunted attraction I’ve ever been to! Sets and animatronics were incredible and the live actors did a great job. We had so much fun. We got the scream pass and it was worth it. Waited about ten minutes total.

Don’t let the bad reviews discourage you from coming. Pay the $30 extra for the scream pass and get there early. We had a great time last night arrived around 7:15 and the longest we waited in any line was no longer than 5 minutes. Actors were great and we stopped to see the illusionist show which was very entertaining as well.

It's was children's day and everyone was having a great time, we even brought a 3 year old.

Such a good time! The amount of detail that goes into this place is crazy!!! My only complaint is such large groups, if they made it's so smaller groups went in spaced out it would be a lot scarier. Because we are in large groups and people in the front would have the actors jump out or trigger the stuff to fall, or pop out so it's like you know what's coming. Other that that loved it, great actors, the food was reasonably priced and tasty and the shops are cute.
Will definitely be back next year 🖤🎃

Went with my son and his friends. They had a blast. Teenagers and adults all got scared alike! The haunted house were very well decorated and they were very well staffed! The pictures we took came out awesome! I no would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to have a good time and get scared 👻

I was blown away by the set design for this! It felt a little understaffed, like there could have been more actors, but it was still really fun and well worth the money. Anyone who loves Halloween and spooky vibes will have an amazing time. It took us about two hours to get through it. At one point I got hungry and then there were warm donuts for sale (cash only). Definitely recommend this fall activity!!

This is well worth the long drive from NYC. I’m impressed by the set design, costumes, and actors! There was even a stage performance by a talented magician comedian! I haven’t screamed or laughed like this in a long time. It sure does beat the Haunted Hayride in Los Angeles, CA.

We have been driving down from Southern Maine for the past 10 years to attend this attraction. Its by far the best Halloween display anywhere. Hollywood quality props and the mass of this place is the size of a small town. Actors have amazing outfits and are well trained. This is a multi million dollar facility so plan to be blown away. No matter how busy they get there is ample parking and everyone is well directed and the process from beginning to end is well thought out. Every year the add and change things up so the theme is never the same. Lots of side shows, gift shops and great food on site. We buy scream passes to cut to the front of the lines which will shave an hour or so between all the attractions. Don't let the price throw you off because even with scream passes we typically spend 3 hours on site going through all this place has to offer. If your traveling here plan ahead as the local hotels get filled up months in advance and we have found staying an hour north in Albany gets us a nicer stay with less hassle. We plan to make this a continued visit for years to come!

I use to come here every year when I was a teen. It was the highlight of my Halloween season. So I decided to go this year with my boyfriend his mom and her boyfriend. It’s nice to say not much had changed the have 10 attractions all together it’s run time is about three hours with wait time included it’s a very nice alternative to the typical fright fest. I found the prices reasonable it’s a nice little drive out of the city definitely worth it I had an amazing time my family loved the experience. They have food and gift shops and even a magic show. I was genuinely scared but the good kind of scared I give the headless horseman 5 stars

We went on Sunday 10/15 and had an amazing experience. We had a 7:30 time slot and went through security quickly. We didn’t have a scream pass and barely waited for anything. The longest wait was for the hayride which was maybe a 15 min wait. The sets are designed absolutely amazingly and my group could not stop talking about the creepy motel. The hayride is awesome as well as the town portion when you exit the hayride as there is a whole story that goes along with it. We experienced plenty of jump scares from both the talented actors and the incredible animatronics. For the people mentioning being sprayed with liquid…it was just water and was a part of a prop. Can’t wait to return next year!

It was my 1st time there 10/06/18, and I had fun with my daughter. She screamed the whole time I don't have scare fright, so I didn't really have an reaction but I enjoyed hanging out with people I didn't know and seeing other having fun and enjoying themselves. The Haunted House Team & Police did an GREAT JOB in my book. I was cut off guard a few times but had to keep moving lol but the Hayride in the pitch dark got me 3 or times but I loved it, we will gladly come again next year 2019. :)

Love going here especially on children's Day. But the night time is the best time

I think that the overall attraction was well thought out and very well maintained by the motivated and caring staff that was available. Unfortunately, it did leave some areas for opportunity but not many to pick on. They have great attractions and live entertainment. I love this haunted hayride more than any in NY.
