I recently moved to Okanogan for work. Having no connections in the area I cold-called a local real estate office and was connected with Mary Baker.

Mary listened to what I was looking for, got to know my quirky personality, and let me know when the most perfect property (for me) came up for sale.

This was an amazing feat on SO many levels. I am quirky, yet particular. The market was COVID crazy. There was NO inventory. Everything was getting sold for cash before my pre-approved brain could determine what my payment would even be.

I love my little place in Okanogan...it is my piece of heaven. I made my first friends in Okanogan in this transaction...both Mary, and the gentleman that was selling the home. I cannot recommend Mary and Okanogan County Realty enough.

Just ask for Mary Baker, she will always treat you right. They do a lot of land as well as residential.

Called to inquire about some land for sale in Tonasket area. Spoke with Mary on the phone Thursday (2 hours after property listed), she took my information, asked what kind of financing, down payment I had etc. Said she would inquire about owner financing and get back to me, since I had other questions as well. Never got back to me Friday, over the weekend, Monday or Tuesday. Land went Pending already, I lost out on the deal. I would never, ever recommend working with someone who provides zero follow up. Business must be so good out there in Okanagan.

Update: I was never told property was pending, not once received any communication or follow up. I would have driven out to Tonasket the following day to take a look if I got more information to begin with. I understand property goes quick, hence why I contacted this Agent 2 hours after listing. I have family in Tonasket who was also willing to take a look, so please dont make it sound like I was unprepared to buy. Obviously I am able to choose my own agent, as you pointed out, not sure why you thought it was neccesary to make that comment as
I never thought I would need more than one agent to get the job done! This business is woefully unprepared to step up for their clients like you would expect an agent to do. I expect another underhanded comment with mistruths, so if reading this, expect that to follow this update. Take your business elsewhere!

Worst experience with a realtor....I do not recommend this business!
