The food was great. Enjoyed some craft beers also. Good service and atmosphere. We'll come back again.

First time here. We had our last night of drivers ed and came here for supper. Just wow. Great food, was surprised at the food. Great atmosphere and our waitress was spot on with everything. Would definitely come here again and bring my wife.

This was my first visit to Basil's On Market. It was a Monday at 5:30 and wasn't too busy. We got a nice seat at the back. Our server was Virginia, and she was FABULOUS! Very friendly and on top of drink refills without hovering. We ordered the bruschetta for the table. It's different from the standard but was very good. For the entree, I ordered the Chicken Bacon Pasta (without bacon) and a bread basket. Everything was delicious and fresh. The flavor of the chicken was terrific and super tender and juicy. I'd definitely recommend trying it. Check out Basil's when you're in Troy and tell Virginia, April sent ya.

Always amazing food and drinks. Service is outstanding and friendly. Cozy, hip, modern, industrial vibe. Family friendly and business appropriate. Anything from salads, to Salmon, to steak, or lobster and shrimp, all prepared by a chef. No short cuts on quality or flavor. This is my favorite place to eat when I’m in town for business.

The FOOD was absolutely TOP TIER! Hands down to the chefs as well as the service and atmosphere. After living in Southern California for 10 years coming back to Ohio was an adjustment (foodie wise). In the two years I have been back in Ohio Basils has by far been the best I have experienced in the Shelby/Miami county area. Please do yourself a favor and treat yourself! I had the Spinach/shrimp stuffed salmon with gnocchi (packed with flavor and shareable) and the fried green tomatos appetizer. Along with my meal I had a well-crafted Long Island with Grey Goose Vodka....just a chefs kiss!

Very tasty, plenty to eat. If you're in Troy OH, do yourself a favor and eat here.

This place is a MUST!

The whole experience was wonderful. The waitress was professional, knew the menu and took great care to get me my coffee. She recommended the dried tomato artichoke dip and it was the best ever. Thank you. I wish I could remember her name, but the coffee maker was acting up. Yet she was resilient and got it working.

Wonderful dinner with family. Made a reservation since it was a Friday night. It was busy! Food and drinks were good. I recommend the Strawberry Mojito. The bread board is delicious. I had the Islander. Rice was meh, but the chicken and vegetables were fabulous. I am not a huge Brussels sprout fan but the ones in my meal were SO good! I was too full from my meal or I would have tried the creme Brule. Someone at the next table ordered it and it looked fabulous.

Amazing food! You've got to try the tomato basil soup. Wow! Everything was great!

Shelbys a sweet server. Their Salmon is amazing, the chefs typically don't over cook it. (Thank goodness)
Excellent moscato and music selections. I love the lemon blueberry cake and the chocolate peanut butter pie.

My children live the fries, cheese steak and the Chicken Parm. Oh and the Crab!! Yum 🥰

I'm leaning more and more towards considering Basil's the best restaurant in Troy. The food is always incredible and prices are more than reasonable. There's a really nice and comfortable atmosphere that's about perfect for grabbing a quick bite at lunch, getting a couple drinks with a friend or a dinner date with that special someone.
There really isn't anything that's not to like.

Steaks were very overdone for medium, salmon under cooked it was like sushi. Fried green tomatoes were great.

Wonderful restaurant with kind staff and great food. While it's a little more than your average restaurant, the food quality and portion sizes are amazing and well worth it. With seasonal food and a slightly changing menu, I can always recommend this place.

The staff have been kind and attentive throughout each of our visits. Coming here with a young child has been a nice experience and their kids menu is perfect.

Lovely restaurant with delicious food. There were 4 of us, and we all ordered something different. The ribs, cheesesteaks, bruschetta, and fries were fabulous! Priced fair with friendly service. I highly recommend!

So happy to find this place. My salad with mango and salmon and candied nuts was enough to make one swoon. Happy to find a yummy, healthy restaurant in Troy! Will be back!

Amazing food and customer service. I enjoyed every bite. There was so much and that was just for lunch. Prices are reasonable.
