I had a very good hairdresser called Larissa. She gave me a bob cut in a way where my hair curls under even without using the blowdryer. Amazing! I was able to walk in and get seen right away. I highly recommend Supercuts on Thayer St.

Just got an Awesome haircut from Ariel at Supercuts on Thayer Street. Shortly after starting my haircut the power went out. Yes, the whole street was without electricity. We just moved next to the window and now I look amazing. Thank you Ariel!!

I’ve been going to the Supercuts location on Thayer Street for several years now, but today had the pleasure of meeting their new manager, Alison. I arrived about 20 minutes early for my 1 pm check in. Alison greeted me and took me immediately. She is friendly, professional and gave me an excellent haircut. I’ll definitely continue going to Supercuts on Thayer.

Kaylee is the best!! I’ve been going to this Supercuts for the past year and it’s always great, but I recently had the pleasure of meeting Kaylee and got the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. I didn’t really know what I wanted, but she guided me through it and really listened. It looks like I went to a high end salon. And she was so sweet and easy to talk to. Highly recommend!!

Alison went above and beyond to make my experience at Supercuts amazing. Her professionalism and talent is like no other. She gave me a perfect haircut and kept me smiling the whole time.Next time your at Supercuts ask for Alison. I would recommend her over and over again!

The stylist who helped me out, Larisa, was a lifesaver! I have a condition called Occipital Neuralgia, which made my scalp beyond super sensitive to the point that i couldn't wash or comb it for 2 1/2 weeks. She has been 1 of the most attentive stylists I've ever had, constantly asking me if I was ok, if anything she was doing was too rough, if something was hurting etc. Definitely would be back again and recommend this SuperCuts to everyone!

Came in really needing a good trim, hair had been growing out of wack for months. Alison did a fantastic job! Cut it exactly as I needed it, and styled it up perfectly. Shed about 10 pounds in the process so that’s the added bonus. Will totally be coming back here in the future.

Everyone is so nice! I always love the haircut I get no matter what I ask for. Great location right by places to stop and get lunch after. Never too long of a wait either!

After a recent (disastrous) haircut from another salon, I sent an SOS message to my neighborhood list serve asking for hairstylist recommendations. The top recommendation? Heidi from the Supercuts on Thayer Street. Not what I expected. But she proved incredibly thorough, made sure she understood what I wanted (and what had gone wrong previously), and was personable without making you feel like you *had* to keep up a conversation. And I have not had anyone handle my hair with such unconscious confidence since I moved from my home state!

I did consider giving 4 stars because, well, this is a chain hair place and I was not seated for my haircut until 30 minutes after my scheduled time, despite being 20 minutes early. But I brought a book and planned ample buffer time in case that situation arose. That said, I think Heidi's professionalism, thoroughness, and consultation well made up for the wait. I am very, very impressed-- and will be getting my haircut only on her shift from now on. : )

I used to cut my hair at Mastercuts but was forced to find a new hairdresser since the place closed without prior notice. I must say I was a bit nervous about trusting a new person but Leticia did a pretty good job! She was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable with the length before cutting the layers. I'll be back soon and will recommend this place and Leticia:) Thank you!

I’ve gotten my haircut here since I moved to Providence about a year and a half ago. Alison introduced me to both a new hairstyle and a new hair product, I can’t sing her praises enough. Highly recommended.

Alison was great! I came in with long hair and I had some vague idea that I wanted to cut it. Alison worked with me to get the short hair I wanted and I love it. Definitely coming back.

I went to Heidi because of a review, she was awesome. I got exactly what I wanted and it wasn't expensive. She DID clean all the hair off me with a blowdrier AND a hot towel, which felt amazing. They're having a play and save thing going on and I received 25% off of a nice product so that's a plus too.

Alison on Thayer is by far the only person I would ever trust for any and all hair/waxing needs. Aside from being extremely friendly, warm and welcoming, she also produces amazing results with any request I ever ask of her.
