Portside Tavern

Went here for dinner and it was such a nice vibe. Waitress was so friendly and drink was good. Be warned, you only will need the one drink because they are very strong.
Food was really good. I recommend the calamri app, and the pork chops with the mashed. I would come here for a quiet/ date settings. They have paid street parking across the street

Portside Tavern is where you go for inspiration. If not the food, then the visuals. Around daily sunset time, the sun is directly in sight of the tavern's windows setting over the bay. The Portside has a set of curtains to block the blinding light, but the view and the experience are incredible.

We went to Portside for an earlier dinner, around 5:00 to 5:30 PM, and promptly got a table. Cocktails were delicious and the food was served quickly. A real benefit to an early dinner!

The Thai Veggie Wraps are gluten-free, and listed as that on the menu. Alongside a bunch of other gluten-free options, the veggie wraps stand out.

The burgers were also delicious. They have gluten-free rolls that accommodate a decent sized beef patty.

Someone else said a lot of things seemed watered down and I think I agree with them but I like soup-y kind of stuff so I enjoyed it. My friends didn’t like it at much as I did though. We arrived at 3pm with no wait. A lot of people at the bar watching the game. When we left at 5pm, it was full! So you probably need a reservation during peak times.

Nice little spot walking distance to water. Best pork chop I've every had in my life. All of the food I've had there has always been top notch. The chef definitely knows what he is doing.

Food and service was great. But they had this little table in the front for kids to get coloring books, crayons and lunchboxes filled with toys… I just thought that was the coolest thing. This is the first time my son hasn’t begged to watch videos on my phone and played the whole time. Such a simple thing to do but so cool and really appreciated.

The Portside Tavern is one of our favorite Rhode Island restaurants. We always know the food will be amazing and the service will be wonderful. It's a regular stop for my wife and I on our "Realty Road Trips" and we recommend it to everyone we know. Thank you.

Lots of seating inside but good amount outside. Minimal wait to be seated on Saturday afternoon. Great selection of beets on draft, including local RI beers.

Delicious lunch. Only my second time here but will definitely return! Pretty area near water. Unfortunately, it's hard to see the water with all of the cars, but no one's fault. Our server was fantastic!

We stopped in for dinner and loved it! I had scallops with rice and sundried tomato pesto. It was a perfect combination of flavor, absolutely delicious. My husband had fried chicken Bahn Mi and he thoroughly enjoyed his entree as well. Also enjoyed the Guinness on tap. We'll return when we are back in the area.

Food was superb. Staff was great. Great price. Fast prep. Large portions! Thursday band is small but well versed and they did great song for 26th wed anniversary. Indoor and outdoor dining. Oppositie the park and water.

Great cocktails in dinner service this evening. Steak tips were done to perfection while my wife enjoyed her protein salad.

I went to visit my daughter at school and to take her out to lunch. She reccomended Portside Tavern. It had a very relaxed atmosphere and a cool vibe. The service and food were fantastic! The Asian pulled pork nacho app is out of this world. I asked for my burger to be cooked "medium" and it was absolutely perfect. I can't wait to go back.

Great food, everything was good. It has plenty of outdoor seating with a pleasant atmosphere. The service war good, we didn't wait long to order or get our food. They have a pretty versatile menu so I feel like there was something for everybody's different tastes. I got the Korean BBQ pork wontons appetizer and it was amazing.

This was not where we planned to have dinner, but I’m glad we did ! Had the calamari which was just ok. Ordered the duck, but it was not available, spirits crushed. Settled for the pork chop, and so glad I did. It was delicious and the only downside to eating every bite was I had no room for dessert! Hubs had steak bowl and loved his, but wanted mine after a bite. Our waitress was lovely, pleasant and accommodating. Oh and my dirty spicy 🌶 martini was perfect!

This place has a beautiful view of the water and an awesome atmosphere. We only sampled a couple beers and an appetizer. We tried the Korean BBQ Wonton Nachos and they were amazing. They were spicy and crispy and just everything that makes up a good appetizer when you're enjoying a cool beer on a beautiful sunny day.

Food is legit. Service is great. Got seated without waiting while it was packed. Po boy & mahi tacos are outstanding. They have really nice outdoor seating with great views. Come here if your stopping in Bristol.

We throughly enjoyed our dinner here!! Everything we ordered from the menus was great! The items from our order included the Fall turkey rice bowl special and the pork chop! Delicious!

I'm working in the area, and at least once a week I get take out from here. The food is phenomenal! From the appetizers, to the sandwiches and entrees, I have yet to be disappointed. Some of the best food around in the area.

One of the best burger I’ve ever had. Good quality meat and portion cooked to perfection, generous amount of bacon, cheese and juicy caramelized onions. We asked for lettuce and tomatoes and we were surprised with large and fresh slices of tomato and fresh local silky lettuce.
I was skeptical about ordering on a Monday night because they close Tuesday and Wednesday and wasn’t sure of the freshness and food quality and I was happily mistaken.
