Inn At the Spanish Peaks

Great find! The young couple who own/operate this B&B truly understand the concept of "hospitality"! Immaculately clean. Very comfortable. Outstanding breakfast. Actually, it was the best meal I had in 5 days on the road. If "T.J." decided to open a restaurant I guarantee it would be the best for miles around. Highly recommend this place!

If you are looking for somewhere to stay anywhere near Cuchara or the Spanish Peaks, this is the place to stay. TJ and Jamie are wonderful, generous hosts. They are amazing cooks, and the breakfast is delicious! The rooms are clean and inviting. You have access to many recreational activities in the surrounding areas. Don't stay anywhere else!

We stayed at the Inn the week of Thanksgiving 2016 for 2 nights. Great food. Clean. Comfortable. We stayed in the Costa Rica room? Friendly innkeepers who offered an historical perspective of the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Be advised that there is the Inn at the Spanish Peaks in La Veta and then the Spanish Peaks Inn near Walsenburg. Two completely opposite experiences by two complete opposite owners. You can clearly tell who stayed with TJ at the inn versus those that stayed at the imposter on Hwy 160.

What a delightful inn and the couple who own the place are so lovely!! The breakfast they made was so delicious also. The house was built specifically to be a bnb so it's perfect.

This place is AMAZING!!! TJ is an outstanding host!!! What a well run establishment. Friendly and fun environment. If you don't check this place out, you're missing out.

Wonderful place to stay. Chef TJ cooks a mean breakfast. Can't wait to go back in a few months for Oktoberfest!!

What wonderful couple to spend a few days with. La Veta ks a wonderful artsy community. Must brag on TJ's breakfast was a work of art....

We're never leaving! Everything is beautiful, we are completely comfortable. Both the hosts and the owner are lovely!

DO NOT BOOK THUS HOTEL FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER!!!!! IT'S A KIN TO THE BATES MOTEL AND IS IN DIRE NEED OF BEING CONDEMNED!!!! TRIED TO CANCEL UPON SEEING IT AND THEY TOOK $63 FOR MY TROUBLE. 👆 THAT'S A NEGATIVE FIVE STAR RATING!!!!

Very much recommend. The place is a real paradise, La Veta is cozy and wonderful. TJ was a great cook.

Very Serene And Great Place To Stay

Nous avons occupé la suite Colorado, elle est spacieuse, confortable et propre.
Un large choix est proposé pour le petit déjeuner, tout y est : du sucré ou du salé au choix.
Cuisiné par les bons soins du maître des lieux, le rez-de-chaussée embaume littéralement le petit déjeuner qui ouvrirait l’appétit de n’importe qui.
Quelle merveille de pouvoir contempler le jardin dans lequel les faons et les biches viennent se promener en buvant une grande tasse de café bien chaud !
Une salle est disponible pour lire, jouer ou regarder la télévision, des journaux sont aussi à disposition.

L’accueil est chaleureux, le lieu douillet, le village historique.
Nous espérons pouvoir y revenir bientôt.
